Look at it, Better, Its Carbon Fiber.

Maybe try to Zoom in, and give more brightness to your screen, Youll see its Carbon Fiber đź‘Ť

No, the CF pattern you are seeing on the car is the pixels from the monitor, unless the tires are CF too?. If the cars were CF they would say so. They wouldn't say stealth livery.

It could well be Carbon Fibre... But it's not bare Carbon Fibre, it has a Matte Black finish. There is a very clear difference.

There appears to be some image distortion on the front bumper. That is not the weave of the Carbon Fibre  Because it isn't bare Carbon Fibre, otherwise we would see it where the bonnet reflects the light.

Ok, so can we agree on Matte Carbon Fibre?

I dont know You guys, but to me thats a CF Pattern.

It might be but I'm still gonna say no. Only the front bumper and part of hood look to have the pattern.

i just notice how GT5 makes old cars like the old challenger looks good. I wonder if this is how they look like when it was still brand new. :)

Amazon Pre-Order DLC Car

Cool car and it looks great in CF. Just one thing though:

Why is it with white rectangle but no number in there? If it's a fictional design, then put a fictional number and some fictional driver names, like KY! Or, at the start of the race put the numbers of the drivers in there depending on their starting place on the grid... đź’ˇ Or just don't put the white rectangle in there in the first place. I think it looks stupid. :grumpy:

Other than that great news for now. đź‘Ť

Still hoping for skidmarks, full damage on all cars, wish there were less trees and spectators but the whatever there was it was 3D, and worried about this whole premium business. But, as always, hopeful. :)

Maybe you can choose your own number like in Tourist Trophy?

Maybe you'll be able to give it a custom number and/or name if it's DLC. You know, for that personal touch.

The cars will all most likely have a 5 on them. If you look at the GT-R die cast model given with the collectors edition, it has the same black/stealth livery and a 5 as a number.

I wonder if you can race them at night, as the headlight stickers won't provide much visibility...

Ovals all have night lighting (cant wait to see Daytona at night, majestic beast), be nice to have some tight ovals to contrast, like Bristol and Phoenix, those would really compliment the day cycle.

Overall im speechless, like some little tween who is about to meet justin bieber. Ya really, that much.

actually, I think it's more, you get to choose number, like interludes, said. The only reason why the GT-R has the 5 is for Gran Turismo 5. I would assume that, because the SLS is blank, you can pick your number. (dibs on 99. :P)

I was thinking more along the lines of Sarthe and the Nurburgring

sorry if this as been answered previously
but i saw in the Pre-Order Collectors edition, that it said the SLS AMG, F1, and others will be added as "bonus" cars
so, im wondering if that means that the regular games wont be getting those, or does that mean that the bonus means their "special" in some way?

I haven't heard about the F1 Bonus car.

But, I would assume that all five cars will be available for download to everyone eventually. Same thing happened with GTPSP and it's "5 exclusive cars" it the Collector's Edition

Bud... I agree. So much to the point that the Challenger is now my wallpaper on my Mits!!

sorry by F1, i meant mclearen f1

i just hope they mean a special edition of those cars and not the actual ones

You get 5 special cars with the collectors edition, if you don't get the collectors edition you can acquire 1/5 special cars from where ever you preorder from. I hope GameStop has something good I preordered back in September

yeah, same thing happened with GTPSP, but about 3 months later, PD released all five cars in a Free DLC pack

I think it's the same thing as with the PSP version; you just get those cars in funky colors. I don't think that PD would leave something like the McLaren F1 out of the standard edition completely. Or the SLS AMG, which graces the game's cover.

No one ever said they would. The pre-order cars like the sls and gtr and f1 are the ones with the special PD designed liveries and power upgrades. The standard versions of those cars are still in the game.
The Collector's Edition cars will be pretty much the same concept.
I think the 5 pre order cars are the 5 CE voucher cars.

 I was just replying to Watain's post. I don't see your problem here, I believe those cars will be in the normal game as well.

Just like the FORD GT LM II CONCEPT (with PD logo on the spoiler) in GT4 where the car has a number "4" on it's body...:D

First they don't give a release date for EU, now they are not sure they even give collectors for EU. Can we please be treatet equally as everyone else :|

my Guess is the November 2nd date is a Worldwide Launch date. They haven't said anything about the Japanese launch date, either, and they should, in theory, get it before the US.

games in UK is released fridays, games in most of EU is released thursday, and other places friday. A video was shown with november 10th, but was removed fast, now it just says november.

And still its anoying if we don't get collectors. I would gladly pay 300$ for it, wich will be the price i have to pay if i want to import it from US anyways -_-

And yes no JPN release, wich really bugs me. But then again maybe it comes at TGS, but makes no sence to announce the dates separateley.
