you listed out two possibilities as to the Sony removal of weather change:
- no implementation of weather change in GT5.
- surprise-spoiler for TG5....


Sadly i think it could be the non-inclusion of such feature in GT5, that cause that "update".
Because, even if they wanted to surprise us at TG5, they still could have left it there... it would still be unconfirmed news until revelations...

By removing it, it seems to be a build for the next GT6... I just dont want you guys to get your feelings hurt by hoping so much.

It's not aimed at me, I know, but does anybody remember the post that appeared on the playstation website / blog before E3? It was then completely removed (not edited) - most of what was in it has been used as "confirmed stuff" ever since; some of it has even actually been confirmed.

I'm not saying this is the case here, just that it has happened before...

I dunno', it's hard to say with PD. To have all this detail in the game and not have at least some form of weather that affects the racing, even if not dynamic, would be strange.

To be honest, I'm really not that bothered about it, just like I'm not that bothered about the damage, but it would be nice to see weather in some form.

So is Kimi and he's in 10th. Block hasn't scored 1 point. Not that i hate the dude, i love his videos and i hear he's a nice guy but imo, i think he's a bit of a showoff; I'll take their word for it. Which makes me wonder, what kind of tricks Loeb or Ogier could perform if they were to make a gymkhana video.

I don't see him as a showoff, but I know where your getting that kinda idea. In one of the Nitro Circus episodes, he was laughing at the fact he's terrible at WRC and how amazing the good drivers are. He challenged Travis Pastrana in a gymkhana contest saying it's the one thing he excels at.

IMO a showoff would never have admitted he was terrible at rally, especially when your famous for your driving skills.

I like Pastrana more, his demeanor gives off this humble vibe but at the same time you know he's extremely competitive. Speaking of which here's a video of him climbing Mt. Ken got to 8th place in Germany before he had a car break down.

Exactly my point, let's see them compete in gymkhana, let's see if they can do better than Ken. I'm a fan of Loeb, but i also believe in individual skill niches. I'm not a Ken Block fan, but i hate folks who look down at guys without knowing their skills.

Let's take look at monster kajima, he has the record for pikes peak. He did not do good in WRC, but do you think Loeb or Ogier will beat him in Pikes Peak? probably not.
