Did some freeze framing on the trailer, even slowed it down from the PS3 on my HDTV and I can confirm that is a White helmet to the left. Not trying to prove anything, just doing some investigating myself.
Same here, downloading the trailer from the Japanese website now. Watched it on the PS3 earlier as well.

I'm thinking more and more that it looks to be premium, but I still think the part I marked out looks strange.

It's cause of the angle and the glare of the windshield. If you zoom in closely in the picture you can follow the real edge of the windshield. Because of the glare you can't see that pillar fully.

I'm glad to announce I was wrong about the 787B (and the R10 for that matter). Just looked at it carefully one frame at a time, and it definitely look premium.

Here is a picture I made. I deleted the frames that was too blurry.

That 787B definitely looks Premium - check out the reflection of the front-left light on its perspex cover.

Although the rear wheel does appear to be off the ground. Appears to be the same glitch Forza 3 had before it was patched.

I'm amazed you guys can tell all this stuff from a few seconds of an old video that probably used tidied up GT4 assets...

Taku Imasaki Interview
nothing really new

Remarks:
They are evaluating whether Nascar Cars will race vs other cars or not.
"If you got this game you'll be honored for a long time. This is a massive game"
The online part is really robust
The online 16 players is the minimum requirement

I really hope that NASCAR's can race directly against other cars. It would be a shame to put them in the game and then they can't directly compete with anything because they are a little different. :indiff:

But that could be a NASCAR call because they don't want a million videos popping up on You Tube showing an Impala stock car racing against a GT class Corvette or even an F1 car on tight city course.

If I remember right, NASCAR was very insistent that their cars were playable on every track in the game. So why not be able to race against every other car too.

There may be a difference in positive vs negative imagery. Can they drive in course? Yes. Positive. Can they go up against any other breed of race car on those courses? Don't know. Possible negative imagery.

Wouldn't mind it anyway, it would seem strange to see a NASCAR in a race with other Touring/GT cars, you can still compare them with laptimes.

I realize this is probably a lot to ask from the OP, but is there a chance that the list can indicate whether a car is premium or standard version? Thanks.

I think its the angle of the shadow that gives that illusion the wheel is off the ground.

Okay. It had the Mopar rear lights and the black roof, and it looks longer from that angle. :P
Mopar? Dodge is part of Mopar, yes, and it's a Dodge Challenger, so yes, it has Mopar rear lights. What are you trying to say though?

Also, the Dodge Charger was not the only car to come with vinyl top (what you call black roof) as an option. Just saying. :)

The Charger and Challenger had very distinct rear lights, like a Mustang or a Skyline. Those big, long rear lights that take up the entire back end of the car made it easy for one to know that car was a Mopar. And I know the Charger wasn't the only one with the vinyl top, it's just the angel of the photo made the car seemed a bit longer than it actually was.

Here's the same list as the first post but with some pics and a tentative list of Premium/Standard cars ;)

Great work. 👍

However, I hope it's ok that I changed it a bit. In this version I have removed all standard cars and cars without image. I think this is the most accurate list of premium cars that we've actually seen with our own eyes. I also added "premium" to some cars that you hadn't but which I'm sure are.

Maybe its time to add the GT PSP cars to the list? Kaz has said on numerous occasions that you can transfer your GT PSP cars to GT5 and to GT6 and so on. I see no reason why he would limit certain cars from being transferable.

Source

Once a car is confirmed standard or premium just mark it down as such on the list

And to touch on the 787b and R10 again, if you ever seen a bluray movie in 1080p you know day time scenes look far better then night time scenes. The cars may not appear to look that good because it is dusk, but if it were day time the fact they were premium would be obvious.

However its up to the The359
