Watching some of the recent Best Buy videos, I see one thing on the confirmed list that needs to be changed to be accurate. During one of the Stingray videos, when I saw the car line-up, the Challenger SRT8 is listed as an '08, not the '09 that is listed in the confirmed list. I had mentioned this a couple weeks ago and didn't get a solid answer as to whether it was an '08 or '09, but I guess we know for sure now. The 2008 SRT8 Challenger was only available in 3 colors: Orange, Black, and Silver. So if accurate we should only have 3 available colors. Also, the 2008 cars were numbered, so if the one that was modeled correctly, is say number 0004 (Jay Leno's Challenger), it should be black, but I am sure that will not be the case in GT5, as they would have to model 3 different cars (or atleast the dash plate) to get the correct serial number to go along with the correct color. I know a very minor detail that 99% of people would not even notice, but I will. Will it keep me from playing the game, NO, but I thought I would point it out.

The image of the apex book is not definitive, because between aston martin and audi should be the asl garaya and there isn't !!!!!!

Why? It could be at the end of the book with the rest of the tuners like it is in GT5P. It could also be under AUTOBACKS.

Ugh, will the NASCAR cars in the E3 2009 trailer (with the rear wings instead of rear spoilers) be kept?

Only reason I see for the cars being updated is to go along with the current season cars. With all the big hype and attention the Cup series has had this year, such as the "have at it, Boys" rules as well as the removal of the wing, why not cash in on it while you have the license? Same logic (abit different circumstances) can be applied to Codemasters F1 games from Last year on the PSP and this year on the PS3.

Man all this time and still not many more cars.
And look at this:

This could be subliminal proof of Porsche (not RUF) in GT5. That's the 911 GT3 R Hybrid if you didn't know. Look on the windshield. And you'll see right at the top of it that there is a Gran Turismo decal on there. Does this mean Porsche in GT5? Sorry for the size of the image if it's too big.

PD was sponsoring the event, so all cars needed to have that banner. Also, race teams =/= manufacturers (Porsche).

For the 261st time, no it does not mean Porsche are in GT5. Kaz has already said he wasn't able to Get Porsche.

Some people dont read the forums as much as others, so they have no clue, why even post those stupid images? This is not a JOKE section. Stop making GT planet look like arrogant kids.

I'm QUITE bloody sure we've been through this SO MANY F......ing times...KAY WHY SAID THERE WILL BE NO PORSCHE IN GT5... HE SAID AND I QUOTE... AND I QUOTE.. "SADLY.. NO" something else.. There's no Porsche.. maybe they sponsor certain events but I'm sorry fellas there's no Porsche for GT5.

I'm a huge fan of Porsche, I'd love to see them in but they're not.. I was disappointed but over it now those that are still in hope and disbeleife.. deal with it.

What's worse, a newb posting about porsche every few weeks, or the 20 replies following his post that say the exact same thing but with increasing levels of rage?

I'd say the last although I do get the frustration of explaining each and every time Porsche won't be in GT5.
Maybe a disclaimer saying No Porsche could be added to the title of this thread in the same way it clearly states it isn't a wishlist ( although that isn't a guarantee as well ).

Kaz did mention that right now he cant bring in the Porsche into GT game, but he would love to. So why say No Porsche when it is possible once EA finishes the licencing with Porsche.

Because GT5 is released in less than two months = too late to start modelling Porsches, especially since they don't have the license? :dunce:

Sure it's possible in the near future but I mainly suggested it to stop people claiming or asking whether Porsche will be in GT5 when it releases, which it won't be.
When they are finally included this disclaimer could be easily removed, anyway I'm not that bothered, in fact I'm often amused by people asking Porsche will be in because they found a picture of one with GT5 decals.;)

Imagine finding a dedicated GT site after hearing a new GT game is about to be released and thinking you found evidence of Porsche being included and aren't aware of the fact it already is common knowledge around here it isn't included.
Only to find your question being responded by mocking Star Trek pictures ( like that's cool ), not sure I wanted to join the discussion anymore myself to be honest.

Every thread it's a gang up on the new guy who doesn't know any better. At least enjoy the picture of that sweet GT3RHybrid.

Read the news about the back cover of GT5 on the front page of this website, and read the second picture. It says 'Choose from 1000+ cars...'

Yey! 1000 Cars! I assume 830 of them will be the ones on GT PSP, because of car transfer system.

Erm... good morning?

This was my first check on the website today, so I suppose that I am kinda late by 1 day? Anyway, it's still good news.

Not one day, a 1000+ car count was already known for quite a while.

Yeah, at least half a year. We've known that 800+ of those cars (called standard) will be crap to many (such as myself) for only a couple of months though, but 200 premium is more than enough for me. 👍

I would think Kaz and company has already, got a few P cars modeled. Just in case they might get the license for the P cars. Don't you think that would be wise of Kaz and company?

Not if Porsche found out. :sly:
