Nowhere does it state that the race car is in the game, yes, you could interpret it like that, but this is not a confirmation for me. I would be surprised if they modeled the car completely anyway, at least not with the complete livery and the number.

The regular IS-F is already in Prologue, so why would they say that?
It's like saying the Skyline GT-R will be in GT5 :)

Because they are journalists for an auto magazine who have no idea what they're talking about? You might remember the Gallardo statement back at the CES, where that website wrote it's the Balboni. You also shouldn't forget that most likely the minority of people who read that article have played Prologue or follow GT5 news.

EDIT: That Lambo is the one we have seen already, the 560-4 or however it's called.

Agree wholeheartedly but be careful, this is not a wishlist ( before you know everyone starts posting the cars they'd like to see appear on this thread ).:)

No. Shock n Awe. I've been reading through some of the old posts on GTP and other sites during the GT4 release, and the anticipation and surprise at the car lists as they trickled out, was crazy. Thoroughly enjoyable reading. I want some surprises.

That said alittle more info right now wouldn't hurt.
 
I agree with a little info but a full list would be boring when you load that disc into your ps3 knowing you wont get surprised by an old classic in full 1080p. Anyone know if toyota trueno ae111 is confirmed(not wishing by the way;))

Boring? It would excite me even more! Know this or that car would make it into the game, would make me watch E3 even more.. but either way I am still eager to watch it no matter what. Long time wait, checking these forums every single day for past 3 years.. yeah
 
I don't see them releasing a full car list anyway. That ruins half the surprise for me, as I love firing up GT games for the first time and just looking through all the cars.
 
Dont get me wrong I dont mean boring I just mean it wouldnt be as good if you couldnt get surprised by a car instead of knowing every single one thats going to be in it.

All I want at e3 is release date, some key features revealed and a few new tracks revealed, might be a lot to ask but i think we deserve it at this stage.

As cool and somewhat confortable as it would be knowing what would make it, it would be just that much more worth it for me to put in a game that I've been waiting for over the past 5 years just to be floored entirely by what hasn't been revealed. In a way, I'd like it more as an early Birthday/Chrismas present that I never saw coming.

Not full list, but definitely they need to show many cars that haven't been shown.
I would be awesome if they showed a trailer with
skyline, supra, nsx, evo, impreza, rx-7 etc. etc.

We've already seen all those cars!!! And they're in GT5:P.
 
I'd like to see some more basic cars (a long with those supercars listed above)

Original Mini, Fiat 500, some early 90s Honda Civics, Integras, 240sx, Silvas and even the 90s Supras, Imprezas, Evos and etc. And even some Evo/Impreza action on a rally stage

We've only seen the Race versions of the Supra, such as Castrol Tom's and Yellowhat.

I personally would like to see standard model's such as TT and N/A, facelift and non-facelift, plus SZ-R (N/A but with 6-speed and LSD)

Also would love to See TRD Supra in the game:
