I decided to not add the Stealth and Chromeline cars since they basically are just different liveries of cars already in the list. About the NSX GT500, it's a Super GT car but with no livery, that's all. No stock model exist in the game
Dang, as every other stealth car does have a normal model I can tick off as being owned. Thanks though.

Is there a ruling that determines what is considered a "unique" car? For people wanting to complete the car list, I mean.
Should an RM version be considered unique? What about those with different liveries that can only be bought from the UCD (e.g. there are 2 different numbered Nissan mm-Cup cars, according to one person). If you can't paint/renumber the mm-Cup car, is it then also considered unique? If you can only get the chromeline/stealth models through pre-orders/special editions, are they also considered unique?
Maybe it's just based on opinion, and we can't come to a conclusion of the correct list.
I'm thinking I may just list all variations in my file, with the questionable ones highlighted, and let the people who use it decide themselves if they want to consider it unque.

I think both are unique. RM cars are body kitted and we can't buy body kits for just any car in the game, nor come close to the full deck out like RM cars are when you change them. The fact that they cost a bundle on top of the normal price shows there quite different.
Stealth wise, there not just a different colour or sticker in my opinion and basically look like they have carbon fibre & race mods all over, so yet again, I think they are unique.
I guess people will disagree if they have the same stats. Do race mods or stealth cars have the same stats though?

Agreed, I'm at 755 unique cars now and was wandering if the RM cars are treated as unique (i.e part of the 1031 total)
I'm assuming they are, especially as, if you fully tune say a Corvette ZR1 and then race modify it, you loose all the tuning and have to re-purchase it, suggesting to me thats its treated as a different car.

They are not Super GT/JGTC cars. My series runs GT500/GT300 cars mixed in together in a field. Since there's only 4 GT300 premiums (and a handful of other standards) compared to about 17 GT500 premiums, we thought we would search for suitable candidates. Those two have been chosen. We've tested them and they are pretty slow around the corners compared to the Super GT/JGTC cars. They won't make it on the final list unfortunately.

You must be new to GT5. The used car dealership (UCD) only holds 30 cars at a time, out of roughly 800 used (standard) cars. 6 new cars are added & 6 removed after each race entered, so 5 races completely refreshes the UCD. Just keep checking it every 5 racers or so, and the car you're looking for will eventually appear.
It would be great if the whole community contributes. 1000+ thumbnails
EDIT: I figured out that they're from the online garage: https://us.gran-turismo.com/us/gt5/user/schwepemc/#profile. Now, if only I can figure out how and when it syncs with the PS3, since it apparently doesn't appear immediately. Just before I typed this, I was able to view my friend's garages as well, but not now

May I ask how you captured those nice thumbnails, with white backgrounds?If it's a simple process, I have over 600 unique cars (and growing) that I could share.

Well, i think it takes a bout 10-15 minutes before the PD servers load the new cars that you just shared for your online garage (6 at a time). At least that's what i experienced. Also, make sure you log out first, then log back in.

I have 870 right now, I'm not sure if there's a limit. There's a trophy for having 1,000 cars in your garage, so if there is a limit, it's obviously no less than 1,000.

I have 1026 at the moment but i am still missing around 40 cars, because i have all the x1 and Fgts and about 9 diferent color Furais on that account and some other cars in diferent colours.
