Hello, i got this idea from the "master car list" thought why not have one for tracks too.

Same rules as in the car list

Tracks in black have been seen in screenshots or have been confirmed by Polyphony through lists
Tracks in red have been seen being photographed and tested by Sony/Polyphony Digital and may or may not be in GT5
Tracks in green have been mentioned by magazines or in interviews as being in the game, yet have not been seen. Also may not be in GT5

Japan
Suzuka
Fuji

Europe
Eiger Nordwand
London City Track
Nurburgring Nordschleife

North America
Daytona

Great idea. This way we can keep up with PD in both main aspects of the game: the machines and what they drive on.👍

:-)

As far as I know, all of GT4's tracks will be included.

There already is a thread similiar to this, in which tracks confirmed for GT5 are boldened and in red, here:

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=83603

I'm sure Jim Prower can create a seperate list for tracks confirmed for GT5 if looking through the list for boldened and red tracks is tedious

I think it will be OK, I mean its hard searching for those tracks against the masses of other tracks on the wishlist. I therefore concur that it is a good idea.

Hey, do you know if this could be stickied? And I was wondering if Circuit de La Sarthe could be added since its in the Le Mans 2007 demo. Im not sure if it was I or II.

Hmm, yes but any proof? Would make since for all of them to be in but all of GT1/2/3s tracks were not in the next versions so this being the "official" list i cant add them with out the proof, appreciate the help and support.

Duphman, personally I think we should only include tracks that have been seen in PS3 specs, not GT HD classic PS2 specs. IMO

OK, if this is going to be the GT5 OFFICIAL track list should you add

Grand Valley

Because the A-Spec vid of the Nissan Motul Pitwork shows without a doubt the Grand Valley Tunnel

I also think Indianapolis has been mentioned in a French magazine interview. dont add it unless i can confirm

Although they are unnamed and, so far, unidentified, there are at least two new tracks in the demos. One is the tree-lined course and the other is the night city course.

Cheers,

MasterGT

Those may not necessarily be courses, just show.

Yes i was watching the videos just now and about to post, but i thought the track/tunnel clip was Monaco/Cote d'Azur

What do you guys think?

I just went and checked, its definitly Monaco. Grand Valley's tunnel lights are different

This'll help me with the "embolden in red" thing, (As I don't cruise the GT5 news websites) so yeah, go ahead.

I also have looked and after coming out of the tunnels there is no guard rails and you can barley see it but I think grass? Definatly a tough one

i believe it's good old grand valley. at monaco after you exit the tunnel, you go suddenly downhill. at grand valley, you exit the tunnel and remain flat then hit the chicane. but i could be wrong.

That was my first guess before Grand Valley, but I haven't bothered to be sure since the trailer was shown.

Well the thread just kinda died with no information coming out. I guess we can take a little vote?

If you think its grand Valley post and if you think its Monoco/Cote d'Azur.

Personally I think that both tracks would be in GT5. Monoco is a legindary track in Formula 1 and on the other hand Grand Valley is a pretty pleasurable place to race.

Did anyone notice a track that looked similar to Nurburing w/ the Motul Z ?

When it when from cockpit view to external view in the first transition.

We already know Suzuka Circuit is comfirmed for because it's in both trailers for GT5P so you might as well add that one too.

Please read everything posted above, Suzuka is on the list already and we have addressed the tracks that the Motul Z, as far as we know that is/could be rendered therefor being any track or no track at all.

Thanks for your efforts though

As much as I'd like to think it's the Nordschliefe, it isn't.

Those over head signs or whatever, only rest on the large straight, but that said straight is also a very wide road, and the amount of grass between the road and the wall is very small.

The Norschliefe hasn't been seen yet, and probably won't be until some big news comes around.

The Nurburgring has, however, been mentioned. Kaz mentioned it in one of the interviews, talking about updating the GT4 tracks for GT5, said that most of the conversion team wanted to work on the 'Ring first, because that was the track that most of the dev team likes to drive on during testing. That sounds pretty clear to me. I don't know if it will be in Prologue, but I'm confident it will be in GT5 itself.

The Mystery track mentioned on the tunnel picture a few posts back was certainly not Monaco. When you look over to the left of the picture, you can see a grassy hill with tree's on it. That is almost certainly going to be Grand Valley!

Edit: I am now 100% sure it is Grand Valley. I just watched the video and I saw that as it came out the tunnel, there was a rocky wall on the left with tree's on top of it, and only Grand Valley and Trail Mountain have that feature. It could not be Trail Mountain though since trail mountain does not have a tunnel that has windows in it!

Ah, shame.
Thanks for pointing that out though.

Are we including Prologue tracks?

If so, maybe Brands Hatch! :D

Eh? Never noticed brand hatch in the top corner before!!!!!!!! I hope brand hatch is in GT5 ot GT5:P Because it is my home track and only live half hour away!
