Eiger Nordwand K Trail:

MFGYI.jpg

Enormous dirt track :scared:
Edit 2 : Updated to show the two smaller trails and pitlane. Sorry about the bad shopping, ignore the lines inside the west trail.

The only track in the vid that shows the length is Eiger Nordwand W Trail @ 1570.7m
If your picture is to scale that would make the K Trail about 7km long.

So my question wasn't answered. The Ferrari F10 F1 car was on Spa or was it Suzuka? To me it looked like the first straight at Spa with the Fencing on the side.

Yea, that fence is probably either Suzuka or the Nurburgring. Its a quick clip though and I haven't slowed it down tho. However, there is a yellow tower off to the left as the car passes. If that helps anyone...

I can't wait to see what tracks are available as you increase level. Considering the Top Gear Test Track isn't available in that video there must be more tracks. :D

Yup could be!

Last one for me tonight:

Special Stage Route 7 is the Higashi Kanto Expressway/Keiyo Road. I think someone posted a real video of this last month, but a bit further south

Wow, thanks for your detective work, incredible!
I wonder if we will get more interconnected expressways!
That is what I was waiting for!

Also other fictional tracks:

El Capitain
Midfield raceway
Apricot Hill

Updated the first page, I count 29 venues and 86 variations. Shirakawa, there are gaps in your track numbers.

The S2K, btw, looks like Papadakis' GT Award-winning car...

It was confirmed in an interview long back ago (together with a longer version of London), and the one in GT5 we've seen it's the "Short Track", so that pretty much confirms there will be more.
EDIT: I'm referring to a longer road course, not the K Trail dirt course.

Yes, but I'm still just interested in knowing how the long version of the Eiger road course looks like. Apparently, we don't know yet.. :)

What is Special Stage Rt 7 all about? An all out blast down the long straights of Japan's expressway?

Essentially, yes.

To me it would be even more interesting if there is a network of more expressways/Special Stages that connect together in several configurations.
We've got Route 5, Route 7, possibly Route 11 (to be confirmed). If there are more, then it's possible that PD have thought of them as portions of a network of roads rather than separate entities.

I really think that Spa is in the video with the F10 on it. If you know F1, you see Spa have wet weather a lot. Suzuka does at times as well, but IMO, Spa has the fencing on both sides on the straight after Eau Rogue, if you watch the opening video, the F10 accelerates down the straight, and to each side has fencing and green grass. But also, on that same video you'll see the F10 take a corner with a light pole. To my knowledge I don't know of any elevation changing corners in Suzuka with a light pole, nor at the Ring.

Somehow, I'm afraid that Cape Ring might be "Spa" for GT5.
It appears to be a semipermanent road circuit (have you noticed the "40 Km/h" markings on the road in the proximities of the looping bridge?) , has great elevation changes, it's rather long, has got a european forest scenery, etc.
At this point, 70+ variations in total not counting different weather conditions and reverse ones seem possible, not leaving much space for too many additional tracks.

Just my random thought. I surely hope to be proven wrong.

I donno, it looks like Spa to me in the intro video, I've seen a lot of Spa, the turning angle looks like Spa, the background looks like Spa, the weather looks like Spa, the light pole inside the fencing looks like Spa.

Motegi must be in.... impossible not...

in wich minute do you refer to????

It doesn't look anything like Spa. Not the landscape (way too hilly, enormous valley), the trees (barely any trees and if there are some, they aren't pines), the track elevations and flow (again, way too hilly, it's like a roller coaster), that highway caroussel / helix thing straight out of Ridge Racer, etc.
