GT5 Master Track List (NOT a wishlist)

Thinking out loud, I know it's dangerous, some courses like Spa, SSR11 & quite possibly something like Red Rock Valley (not really certain there in) might not be available until higher levels are unlocked, so we might be limited on all the tracks by how fast someone who has the game can unlock the levels. Kaz might hold some of these special tracks until higher levels are obtained.

some info from rybak:

The game is really huge.
He will check the sounds with some car that is in prologue.
You begin at level 0. You gain credits for every race you win and this also raises your level.
Obviously the higher level you are, the more difficult races are available.
Read! i told him to check those expert events to see if there are any new tracks that are not in the practice mode and he told me you can´t even look at those events when you don´t have them unlocked.
He is lvl 5 at the moment.
I also asked about the 900 steering animation so i am waiting

All it's needed is somebody with a PC blu-ray reader, some tools and a bit of knowledge.
The day GT5 officially comes out all tracks will be disassembled from the disk.

Nordschleife wasn't in the video, which basically confirms that there are further tracks in the game that aren't in the video.

I believe Chamonix is based here near Megeve, which is pretty much exactly where I said it looked to be

Not a perfect fit with existing trails so I'm not 100% sure yet.

Would be nice if Hockenheim was included, I used to love racing on the old version on GP2+3 when i was younger...Spa would also be nice but I'm sceptical on both these tracks being in game

If there was such thing as a real Rally Chamonix it wouldn't just drive around the town for 2 days It's the most famous place nearby aside from Megeve.

Also, I don't want to sound like too much of a pessimist, but is it possible El Capitan and Ice Arena were put in the Red Bull Trailer by mistake? They were both using PSP assets and we haven't seen any sign of them in the game or anywhere else.

Yeah it's been redesigned since GT4, i think the GT4 version was "loosely based" on the real location where as this one might be the real location according to trails, like Eiger.

Last one for me tonight:

Special Stage Route 7 is the Higashi Kanto Expressway/Keiyo Road. I think someone posted a real video of this last month, but a bit further south maybe.

~20 mile round trip if it's true to life.



Seen in game about half way through that one??

Better to be pessimistic and be pleasantly surprised than to be optimistic and be let down I think.

The Grand valley location is confirmed in the track video, can't remember which variation is which.
Edit: yes that's the bridge in Speedway.

I think it has the full configuration on this one as the Shorter East version didn't include the bridge if my memory serves correct....

Also I'm not familiar with this corner...any ideas?

don't know but that S2000 looks awesome. i believe that is a FD Rx-7 in the back as well. hopefully, that's what racing mod or tuning does to the cars

The overhead one is Nurburgring GP circuit if that's the one you mean. One after could be Cape Ring if it's not something obvious.

Was meaning the one after with the gold Mclaren F1 on it...Probabley Cape ring to be honest, the camper on that corner is insane! Reminds me of the corner on trial mountain after exiting the long tunnel...

Saw the track video, and so far everything seems pretty cool. Hopefully more tracks unlock when you progress farther in the game, then what was shown. I still would love to see SSR11.

How many tracks (not track variations) do you guys think will be unlocked? I still want to see Spa, Bathurst, Seattle, SSR11, some ovals that vary in length/bank (Indy and Daytona are both similar in length). I also remember hearing that all the user created tracks have the option for day/night cycles, I hope this turns out true because I'm sort of disappointed with the lack of tracks that offer day/night and weather options.
