I have strong feeling that Sony "persuaded" Kaz to remove some tracks for further DLC. Otherwise it makes no sense. Where is siena, london long, eiger long, el capitan, and spa (belgian high fens was almost confirmation!)?

As much as I am against DLC, I know i'll end up purchasing it

This has to be incomplete, we have seen El Capitán in TGS 2010 Red Bull trailer:

And this is not a photo mode location

I dont understand this; they actually went down in track amounts?

Boy did Codemasters smoke PD in terms of their ability to pick relevant tracks.

I thought Spa Francorchamps would be in there! Wth? No GT5 for me! It'll probably be a let down anyway, just like everything they bring out nowadays. Good bye GT.

I hope and think this is the track list of the first level, because we haven't seen top gear track and more... otherwise, if it's the final, i'm not going to buy the game...

I tried to warn people, the El Capitan and the Sliding Center clips were originally made to promote the PSP game. How they got into the Red Bull trailer I don't know. :dunce:

The only thing that gives me hope that this isn't the complete track list is that Piazza del Campo isn't listed anywhere.

Also, with exception of Tuscany, none of the course maker locations are listed either.

No test course is a huge dissapointment and yes it is a pretty low track list to be honest strange that there doesn't seem to be a Standard track.Thankfully we have the track editor huge plus.

What relevent tracks did Codemasters pick?

With F1 2010 they don't pick the tracks they're putting in there. They have to put in tracks like Spa, Silverstone, and Hockenheim because in order to call the game F1 2010 it has to have all the races from the 2010 F1 Season.

As far as Dirt and Dirt 2 is concerned most are just random courses.

Oh what the hell!!!
Piazza del campo? Where the heck is it?

And NY, Silverstone, Motegi, Seattle, Spa, Estoril, Citta di aria....I don't even want to complete the list, i'm so disappointed after all this wait.
Will we have DLC?

Posted this on Neogaf, and it´s a list of all the casualties:

-----------

People including myself waited until now to say something about the track list and the car list.

I won´t say much about the car list, it was pretty much expected. There´s variety, and DLC will fix some bugs (F50, EB110, Road Diablo).

But the track list is just... i really thought they would reuse the assets from previous versions like it was rumored countless times.

I didn´t wanted to say before, but i was afraid of El Capitan because: the shot with the enzo and in the california trailer, that rock formation could be from Eiger trail G, K or other, not El Capitan.

Really, we are missing:

Circuit Valencia (i mean, acquiring a license and not using it on a full game???)
Infineon Raceway (WTF adding Nascar and dropping this course???)
Motegi (Couldn´t you give the upscaled version from GT HD Classic?)
Spa (stickers, rumors from Jordan... it was 99.9% in...)
The other wheather tracks, we had some hope

Driving park (includes test course)
Complex String
El Capitan
Grindwald
Midfield
Red Rock Valley
Tahiti Road

Citta da Aria
Costa de Amalfi
George Paris
Hong Kong
New York
Opera Paris
Seattle
Seoul
SSR11

Cathedral Rocks
Green Forest
Grand Canyon
Ice Arena
Pikes Peak
Smokey Mountain
Swiss Alps
Tahiti Maze

That´s 28 tracks. I don´t think DLC will be able to cover all that.

It´s just unexplicable to have less than the portable version... I REALLY thought they would use the upsclaed assets from GT HD.

Still loving the game and the date, but i´m a bit shocked by this.

Okay, I'll do it, I'll bring up the TOCA series if you really want to be wronged here. Give me a sec

I am hoping the list is incomplete or that there will be some DLC. It is possible that some of the tracks were not quite up to PDs standards and were disabled in the game and could show up later via update.

I was really hoping to see Motegi, El-Capitan, Seattle, New York and Infineon. Was also hoping we would get lucky and get Bristol and Watkins Glenn for the Nascar.

The difficulty of DLC tracks is implementing them into existing race events.

really hoping the list is very incomplete otherwise its a utterly disappointing selection.

Ugh, double disappointment at both the track list and car list. The dirt track list seems almost like its missing any connection to WRC.

So a 4 year old racing game had the following... (TOCA 3)

-Adelaide
-Bahrain
-Brands Hatch
-Donington
-Dover
-Gateway
-HOCKENHEIM
-iSTANBUL
-Nashville
-Philip Island
-Shanghai
-SPA
-SURFERS PARADISE
-Zandvoort

And I started excluding tracks because it was embarrassing how much better Codemasters is at getting tracks into a game thats not even an F1 game....

Did you ever play ToCa 3? GT5 is about 10 leagues higher in quality.
