I really hope there's more but I don't see how it would be profitable for Sony not to release the hypothetical full track and car list with everything we are/were expecting.

What's happening right now? People are getting a bit upset, some are even canceling their orders.
Why? Because two official lists have been published and there is nothing suggesting there will be more, track and car wise.
One thing that sugests there's more: no Piazza del Campo, although that might as well be removed. Didn't we get a confirmation of tyhe track being changed tough?

Neither list to me are completely accurate as they don't include any of the bonus cars from pre orders. It makes me all giddy hehehehehe. I mean its not hard to upscale tracks from GT4. Really the hardest part is building the track itself. Everything is there, just the textures need to be updated.

But planeteers as a good friend said, take this as GT3 if thats all we get. You know, 27 tracks isn't that bad.

Cape Ring is raced clockwise. Correct?

Cape Ring Periphery is raced clockwise, but 'Cape Ring' is probably Anti Clockwise. The main straight on the south side has a two way start grid with a gantry at each end, and the intro shows the north part being raced anti clockwise.

Cape Ring is Periphery reverse + Inside reverse. North only has a one way grid so that must be clockwise too. South probably clockwise to stop it being just a shortened version of the full route.

Wheres special route 7 long? We've seen that there is multi variations.

It looks long enough! There's a wet variation, anything else was speculation, I'm probably to blame for some of it. :dunce:

So where are the STANDARD tracks. In the demos of the Nurburgring it said premium so that means there are standard tracks aswell doesn't it?

Hey does anyone still have that list from the computer that had GT5 tracks listed? They were is code words and like grindelwald and spa were there.

That might have been the plan at some point. Would it have been better recieved than standard cars? Not sure.

After today ,I am sure no one will say no to them.Couldn't they just release the track list tommorow and let us celebrate the release date today  .Evil PD

I thought everyone agreed that it was unclear if the premium label referred to the car or the track as all the cars in those demos were premium.

Now if you look closely the smaller ssr7 is at the bottom of the track...

I am at least hopeful at least most of the classic courses will return. Most of you know I don't have expectations. I don't go on any epic rage over anything seriously disappointing. Have some hope. The only way I'd be seriously disappointed is if GT5 was essentially a prettier GT4 (much like how GT3 was a prettier GT2). The fact it's taken so long to make the game doesn't mean that I have ridiculous expectations.

Back to the tracks for a moment. I am very hopeful and rather pleased with what we've seen so far. PD surely has the element of surprise in their work. Who's to say they don't come along with something real surprising? I'm hopeful with GT5 news as I have been when we waited for GT4.

You know when it sinks in that it is less than 2 weeks away ,you sort of get excited wow finally after 6 years its days away ,lets really stop complaining and enjoy what we got.

It's not confirmed as available track

It seems to me that PD have only confirmed what they must at the bare minimum. Had to put Nurburg and topgear in because everybody knew they were coming but apart from that, who knows because we're yet to see anything else yet......

I'l join the chorus of disappointment. I feel underwhelmed by some of the circuits that have been included, particularly considering the ones that have been dropped. I'm also a little bemuse at the way some circuits have multiple variations with very little difference between them - Le Mans springs to mind. It was nice to have the chicane and no chicane configuratios in GT4, but now we've got five different layouts and I can't imagine that the differences are even going to be noticeable to the casual gamer.
