Cool, we're sticky! Responses:

Tuscany: forgetful me... it's been added.

Bern(e?): definitely just a photomode/menu location so far, we haven't seen any proof that would lead to a race track.

Rome: the "AGS2009" youtube screenshot doesn't look familiar to me. The stadium track support is an obvious giveaway of such a location, but I'll pop in GT2, run the two Rome courses, and get back with my opinion.

Special Stage "either": Route 5 was clearly featured in PTOM, but I've yet to see any of R11.

NYC street + Midfield: TorqueHappenS, could you please post links?

I'll watch the Citroen GT and FT86 vids again and look for track clues.

Video reactions

FT86: most definitely a new track. That tunnel looked enough like GVS to make me want to believe they completely redesigned it. The rest of that track just makes me happy in regions that shouldn't be affected by a road!

Citroen GT: Looks like some shots at Route 5, London in the evening, HSR, and that jump could be anywhere.

(cont'd b/c of PS3's character limit)

Maybe it was just the angle, but it looked like the GT was jumping up an incline and landing on a decline, unlike at Seattle, where it flattens out if you land short of yet another incline. Anyone know if Madrid is a hilly city? Could be an all-new track.

There is a Rome track confirmed, but we dont know if its the old one, because one of the sections you could see in the videos isnt a part of the old track.
Heres the trailer again:

At 57 seconds the pit crew has the Cheverolet logo on their suits, not the team sponsor. Does that mean PD is doing the EA thing and throwing a bunch of fictional drivers in, just to fill a field?

What's the song in the GT5 trailer?

This could be due to a number of things:

1) A uniformity in-game of all pit crews using the same outfit of the car manufacturer. In other words, the NASCAR Chevy pit crew could have the same uniforms as if you were just driving a Corvette road car.

2) Licensing issues prevent some of the logos from being used.

3) In the E3 trailer we could already see that they had repeated cars that just used differing paint color schemes, so to keep the pit from looking weird they just have generic manufacturer based pit uniforms in the color of your car.

Is that the BMW logo on that NASCAR's pit crew suit at 27 seconds??? Enlarge the screen to see better at youtube.com (just click on the video)

Nope, it's a Ford logo. But that's still good news cause we still haven't seen any Nascar's Ford Fusion and this might be some kind of hint about it's inclusion.

But that's just speculation for now.

I think your looking at the wrong guy. It's the guy behind the Ford pit crew. He's also wear distinctive BMW colors (white red and dark blue). You can also make out a "B" on the back of his racing suit as well.

Theres no BMW in NASCAR, wouldnt make sense.
Or its a scene from a different racing series.

EDIT: I know what you mean, but its not "BMW".

Then what could it say other than BMW. The suit has the same design and coloring as the BMW suit in prologue.

Maybe it's one of the sponsors, but it looks remarkable like the BMW suit. And I can't think of any team that has a 3 letter sponsor that starts with the letter "B". (And yes, I know there is no BMW in NASCAR).

@GTAce- it can't be a different racing series, because their carrying NASCAR tires/wheels.

maybe because it's not a 3 letter logo/team. I honestly don't see 3 letters. I see a B then something.

Maybe not 3 letters, but definitely a "B".

I looked up driver paint schemes/crew suits, and the one that came closest to the GT style one was A.J's Valvoline car. But I doubt it's his.

Oops, my bad. I was looking at the wrong guy. That guy at the back clearly wear a BMW racing outfit. Weird on a Nascar pitlane actually...

That's what I was just doing. Saw one team named BAM but couldn't find suits or anything.
If that is indeed a BMW suit, it could means many things. PD only got a license to a handful of teams and had to make up fake ones using current manufacturers. Maybe the pit crews have random suits.

That would seem very un-PD being the perfectionists they are. And the sponsor BAM dropped out of NASCAR in 2002 if I'm not mistaken.

Nope, looked up and nascar.com shows them. Of course it shows 2007 year as the current line up so who knows? Also, if NASCAR races are supposed to be 16 players and they only got like 10 teams licensed, then of course their only choice would be to make fake cars/teams.

They already did that in the E3 trailer by using the same teams with just a different color pattern.

The licensed teams right? So then each driver from that team is licensed along with every car? That would mean that 5-6 teams = 15-18 drivers/cars, right? Or did they seriously mess this up and you race against like 3 Jeff Gordons and 5 tony stewarts?

They have to license every driver, I do suspect there will be more drivers than what we've seen thus far.

There are clearly two DuPont cars with different color schemes. But that was a trailer from June and it could have just been a trick for the trailer because they didn't have all the liveries done or something.

GT has also never prevented two of the same car from racing each other, so the differing color schemes could be an option the player can choose.

It is too early to tell how NASCAR will look one way or the other, but I haven't seen any blatant duplicates in any NASCAR footage since.

I think that you will see just name of car model's like in GT5P when you start race and finish race too...
Sorry for my english.
Also in GT4 when you drive impreza rally car and ai also drive it you have two Peter Solberg on track...

I just spotted the Dodge pit crew at 49 seconds in about the middle row of cars. More interestingly, it looks like there's also an Audi team in the very back. (But like BMW, there's no Audi in NASCAR) Go to youtube and watch in fullscreen HD if you can't see it.

to be honest i am slightly dissapointed due to the fact that there wont be the full NASCAR schedule. i am a NASCAR fan and im excited that PD had picked it up.

All i can do is hope for DLC!!! :D

not the same thing. You can have 10 Gallardo's race each other and I would have no problem with that, could happen. How can you have 10 of the same racing car, race each other when only 1-2 of the same car exist at one time and only one real driver, gordon or stewart, etc.

I am just tying to explain what might be happening in GT, as I can go into GT4 and race my friend with both of us using the exact same Audi R8 LMP car. I am not defending them.

In this case, it looks like you could possibly have 2 of the same DuPont liveried Chevy's but use differing color schemes to tell them apart in replays, or maybe online. Or, perhaps it was just something PD did quickly for the ad because they didn't have time before E3 to model all the Cup cars.

And I would like to quote myself to point this out again:

It is too early to tell how NASCAR will look one way or the other, but I haven't seen any blatant duplicates in any NASCAR footage since.
