Indeed Amar
Exactly, Prologue didn't support multiscreen in spectator mode as it was case in GT4 and there were problems because one simple reason - cockpit view.
In GT3/GT4 left-right views were made to align ith central, while in Prologue they were made somewhere off. I presume the reason was to make them more "analogue" when switching.
Also, inclusion of cockpit made left-right views different than "bumper left-right" and every car had different POw, as you described.
But GT5 will enhance the "iisues" (problems) because now it includes HaedTracking and we yet have to see the variety of possible options.
IF there will be propper multiscreen support for all game modes, some propper adjusting options - that need to work at-once for all cars (as in Forza 3 for example) is a MUST.
Have you or any others here considered what ways could be used with multiscreens using SPECTATOR mode even if surround view isnt properly supported?
In GT3/GT4 you could set-up additional screens in Spectator mode for any available camera (any in-car, rewrviews, any third-person) or any type of replay camera which would run in real-time (even "special efects" cameras and so on). But you couldn't make a separate screen with "data only" for example.
It will be great if GT5 would support sme kind of B-Spec screen as separate screen from 2nd console in real-time, but I guess we will really have to wait to see what will GT5 bring in this undiscovered area.
I presume many would invest in 3-creen for racing, while even more would invest in 2nd screen for real-time data-management and similar, but at this point it is all fishing
