Still new to the GTP family.
I will be using G27, and I think I will start get used to the driving physics through some licenses and a bit of race before meeting you guys online.

Hi all, first post, usually a casual forum observer but would just like to introduce myself should we meet along the way.
Almost 30, lifelong gamer, avid Tottenham fan, who's main titles over the years have been and still are Gran Turismo and FIFA. Like many others, the initial PS3 purchase was with GT5 in mind and, and it's finally here for the masses (almost).
I play with a DFGT wheel and have made my own stand from an old coffee table. Which, ( if I say so myself
) is outstanding. I am probably able to provide some advice with this if anyone is thinking of going down this route.
Had plenty of driving experience (Current car: 89 Honda CRX 16v), had a couple of track days etc and driven a broad range of cars, wouldn't by any means ever claim to be an expert and only ever try to offer any opinion on experience.

I'd like to keep matching clean and fun, i'm not into destruction derby racing within GT5.
I noticed a lot of bashing and unsportive behaviour in Prologue hopefully it isn't the same with the full GT5 as i haven't played online yet.
P.S. I just bought an PS3 with GT5 bundle so I'll accept anyone

Have you tried online mode? Even worst than Forza 3's online, seriously, this has to be a joke. A lot of lag, it freezes a lot of times and the worst part: ****** filters and options: karts, F1 or all cars. No Nascar, no WRC, no Super GT, no sports car, no 'less than X HP cars', nothing. If you are the host you can filter cars... one by one! you have to select all cars you want to allow, and you cant save your settings. No Qualifying session, you can even disable penalties...
It's nonsense. PGR2, a 8 years old game, is much better than this one. GT5 needs a MASSIVE update, this is not about lag or some glitches.
