GT5:P vs Forza 2 comparison.

And i love Jeff Gordon's cars since the 90s where it had the rainbow colors. 8)
A livery editor would be amazing, and i mean really amazing!

Exactly. Just because PD add a Vynal editor, doesnt mean that the game will turn into a Fast and furious style game, where An RX7 with a sound system in the boot, that could drown out a Metalica concert can run 10 seconds on a quarter mile drag race. They are doing it so Talented guys can use their emagination to make realy nice looking race cars. I niether have the time or the patience to sit there and make something like I have seen on Forza. But that doesnt mean that it should be in the game Just because I wont use it.

HAHA

You forgot the 67 speed gearbox, becuase in The Fast and the Furious, I lost count at how many times they changed gears during a race in a straightline beofre they even it 100mph.

Oops I apologise I have unintentionaly turned the thread from GT5 compared to Forza 2 into a how unrealistic Flawed and ****tarded sorry i mean fast and furious was.

So Livery editor i here you say hmmm.

PD can limit what vinyls they throw into the mix keeping it from becoming a NFS knockoff. Correct ? YES they can . Just keep them to race inspired themes.
And just how is anyone supposed to do that? Are you going to track down anyone with a car you don't like and cut their cable? :odd:

Do you mean that only Polyphony can do the liveries, and we can like them or go buy Forza3?

Are you saying that I can't detail my car the way I want to?

Meh...

I hope he isn't saying that. I have rarely ran into a god awful ugly car in FM2 online, usually very minor vinyls, and very nice clean paint schemes. The best part about having an editor in an online racing game is that you can easily see how bad of a paint job you did when you see these other cars looking so perfect. Of course you do get some D-class ricers now and then, but only cause they are new, most good D-class cars will have the Forza adjustable splitter front and Forza adjustable spoiler rear, for handling.

Back to the OP's point, I'm glad the times were fairly close, shows all three games were close to each other in many ways. But GT5P is only a sim racer if you stay on the track and never hit another car or wall. The auto traction control is so bothersome, and really took for granted the ability to get out of the grass in FM2. The car collision physics are PURELY arcade, the unnatural way the cars explosively bounce off one another makes close online racing even harder knowing any contact may result in both cars leaving the track as though a Hurricane blew them off. FM2 gets this right, allowing some small contact with small consequences, but big consequences for heavy contact, like a spin for a rear quarter panel hit, maybe for both cars depending on the situation and drivers.

A livery editor ain't necessary IMO. Just bring back the racing modification from GT/GT2 and I'll be more than happy.

+1 and go in depth with the tuning so everyone online doesn't have the same numbers they can take a page off nfs motor city in that department. And drag racing with classes.....
