Discuss all your new discoveries here!

I'll start: I noticed that when racing the stock 370z with the wheel, TCS was automatically turned off even though it should be on 7 and you can't adjust it. Some users using the pad claim it is turned on and can't adjust it.

I reset the wheel twice. One time in game and once out of the game. The TCS is still set at 7.

I know but when you race, does it feel like TCS is on, you should still be able to spin your wheels like it's off, and get no red throttle limiter.

Pad users get the red throttle limiter just like when you have TCS in prologue, and they can't even spin the wheels a bit. The throttle gets cut off.

According to my friend Mad94d, painted cement actually has less grip than the bitumen, something GT has never simulated before.:) (I haven't got it myself yet, another hour apparently).

I discovered that the trees are a cross with textures. very simple and not quite the standards PD have set for themselves.. i kno ikno its only a time trial and will hopefully be fixed in gt5

Yeah, I was wondering myself why that surface was so slippery. I can start a burnout in 4th gear with the stock 370z on there.

Hah, I wanted to test if you get penalised for going into the yellow stripes..... that was a mistake :P

Yeah same here. I went out there flat out to see if you could take it without getting done for cheating. Nup, straight into the wall.

I think you've shown us it doesn't take a wheel to get top times. I discovered that you can push the braking point boxes through the wall and they dissapear.

Oh and they also make good objects to do donuts around. I'm gonna try to set up a slalom with them.

Discovery: the g25 still isn't supported as an option to configure.
Great! The best driving game doesn't support the best wheels. Or now you're gonna say this demo isn't for driving either. So far it's not for so many things.

I've discovered a few cars I recognize on the back stretch where there's a whole bunch of them parked.

Mitsubishi FTO
Cadillac Escalade
Mazda6 (new version)

And some wagon that I can't make out.

Also, anyone notice the tire squel changes before and after you get onto the yellow lines...

Yeah I noticed.

Wow seriously? That's cool.
