Wow... I hate hearing all these good things!!! I'm getting too anxious man! I just downloaded it and lo and behold, I get kicked off of the TV so my parents can watch TV! and I wont be able to use it till like NINE (PST) after the SJ Sharks game! ugh

I noticed the US version does not have any GT Academy mumbo jumbo on the hood or side

It's because US (and Canada :sly:) don't take part in GT Academy.

That could mean that we're either getting a proper GT5 demo, or Prologue will get a GT5 update patch.

Gran Turismo TV ending for GT5P Could this be a sign ? :D Only free content will be distributed for some time. I smell the death of GT5P and the beginning of GT5 soon.

I discovered that you can't have a ds3, chat pad, and a driving force wheel on at the same time. The menu cursor moves to the left and right sporadically.

I've noticed how everyone expects perfection when this is ONLY A TEMPLATE for GT5.

Small things amaze small minds......sorry to be an Ahole this time round but c'mon people be a bit more realistic about whats here in this Demo and whats not. We cant - cannot control things that arent in our hands.

I discovered traction control doesnt really work on a 370Z. haha :) And that regular tires are going to be useless in GT5 (God, that stock Z is hard to drive).

I've discoverd it's broken my playstation:grumpy:
I've tried restarting it and changing the SCART, any other ideas?

This demo is definitely mainly showcasing the physics like they say. I've noticed the sand and smoke dissolves a lot quicker than in GT5P.

Ok, my TV dosn't seem to be getting any connection with the PS3 at all now, there's just that blue screen as if the SCART's not put in (but it is). Surely this is more likely to be a problem with the PS3/TV and not something the game could have caused? I'll try on another TV tomorrow.
update: I'm now getting a picture again, but it still has the colours.

The racing line with the braking areas shown is dynamic, I'm not sure if it was like this in Prologue or even in previous GT games, I never really use it but it is almost calculating the braking areas depending on the speed you are going as if you approach a corner slowly it doesn't show any braking zone.

Also the spectators in the crowd are perfectly still when you drive around but if you park the car next to them they all start moving. IMO they should move a bit when you are racing, it just adds a bit more life to the edge of the track.

Yeah prologue did do that. The driving line is wrong on a few corners though. You can get a better exit from the last corner if you beak in a straight line and turn in late. Gives you a few extra MPH for the straight.

It's your PS3 graphics chip, its a known rare problem but more common on early PS3's (60gb), phone Sony, there is little you can do. There is fixes but they're fairly complex (full strip down and reflow of the processing chips) and risky.

Thanks for the information, although mine's 160GB. The problem's got worse games are now totally unplayable and the PS3 freezes after a few minuets of use as well. The warranty’s expired (by a few weeks) but surely the Sale of Goods Act 1979 would apply?

Give them a sob story, It's a known problem and they often replace it free even when it is out of warrenty. If they don't, ringing them back and talking to someone else often works too, if that fails then drop the sales act on them. I do remember people using that law (or something similar) in England.

hmm i discoverd that speed neeadle rects diffrently to slow speed and diffrently to low speed in 370z tuned

For low speed when changin gear it whoobles a little and for fast speed it is sturdy as a rock... anyone noticed it ?
