well, what about that:

Common sense tells me this isn't for real. Track editors are huge work and the game is designed for it from the ground up.
I just can't see it. I'd much rather resources were put into making online component great.

Yamauchi: “[Laughs] A lot of the courses we set up, we take a long time fine-tuning the details and building the track, so it would probably be a bit different than the types of tracks the users will set up in the game.“
Wait, what? You want tracks in space?

Oh yeah, and they could make DeLorean fly back to the future when I hit 88mph...

Maybe that's what Kaz meant when he said you can reverse your game!
That would be a seriously weird feature.
Imagine driving one lap Fuji 2005, and the next lap you're suddenly driving the 90's track 💡 Does sound cool actually...
Yes and suddenly you find out that you are driving a de lorean and leaving flames in tire tracks![]()
that'd be the most bad-ass way for them to debut tyre tracks. Anso they should put easter eggs into cars, so that the de lorian leaves flames when it hits 88, if you jump in an old camaro or something a mullet appears on your helmet, if you drive an Alfa Romeo it won't break down, etc...
id like to at least be able to setup tire columns and go bowling![]()
lol
you could play with 15 friends in Mini's..... Speed down a big long straight in a big heavy car and everyone who gets damaged is a pin knocked over.

But it wouldn't have any downforce as there is not much of an atmoshpere, and also because of the lack of air the engine wouldn't work.Imagine racing on the Moon, a GT-R R35 would weigh less than half of what a Formula 1 car weighs (due to the fact that a GT-R weighs c.1,700kg, and the Moon's gravity equals 1/6 of Earth's, making the GT-R weigh c.285kg on the Moon).
