Everybody has there favorite track in Formula 1 but what features of Formula 1 do you want to be in the game? like the safety car rules or pit boards?

ha I loved it because of the planes flying really low over the track because it is right next to the airport

Yeah, I flew into that airport on the way there. Donington looked pretty cool from above. Different story on the way back, with the mountains of rubbish and abandoned tents left by people at the festival.

Would be great to see a race when flying in, but then again, I'd rather just be at the race.

Everything. I want a game where you have full control over everything. Formation laps, driving in the pitlane, driving under yellow flags. Everything basically.

Formula one tracks are historically the best racks in the world. Obviously there are some which aren't so great, but tracks like Monza, Suzuka, Fuji, Nurburgring are all going to add to the game. They are missing out the one big one though, Spa. I don't know of barely anybody who doesn't like that track and along with Monaco it is seen as one of the best grand prix's. Talking about Monaco, I'm hoping they get the license to have the actual track this time around, rather than the wide runway style track with barriers put where they aren't.

F1 sounds like a pretty awesome future to me.

Monza is my all-time favourite real-world track. I can't say I dislike Spa, but I can take it or leave it. It's great to watch races on, but I don't get too many thrills driving on it in-game.

In a different game than GT it will be good, over the years we have seen the "Odd" F1 type of car at times, so long as it stays that way, the better GT will be, because it's not a F1 game, never has been, never wants to be. That is for another type of game 👍 not this one.

with a decent track listing i can now say 'i wish.' i wish they had included spa along with just about everyone else. i'm just happy with grand valley speedway, the best f1 circuit ever. 💡

i also found it peculiar to have live weather in seemingly unimportant cities...unimportant to most.

I sure hope PD add the Estoril race track as it is in my home country and I've gone there a lot of times. It would be really awesome to play in that track and be able to break some records in there! :D

Spa might be in, for all we know - it is quite obvious that not all tracks are unlocked at the beginning.

As for the second period, I won't even comment.

PD should get the license for f1, I know they will do an awesome job. I hear that you spin unrealistically in F1 2010. I'm sure they could add the F1 cars and tracks, and I think the pit stops and such will be wildly different to what's in GT5. Plus the awesome physics engine and graphics will make it awesome.

The biggest problem with that is the amount that Bernie may ask for, Kaz has already say its far too expensive and also, as stupid as it sounds, Codemasters only got the F1 license due the kronyism that is rife within FOM, F1 and FIA. Kaz needs to use his connections with RedBull and cause a mass-persuasion like what Dale Earnhardt did with NASCAR. The other problem is the secrecy of certain teams, so the handling and feel of every car is always going to be guess work.

Yes, I'm sure the teams will be uncomfortable with Polyphony making intimate details of their cars made public six years after the cars last raced. While we're at it, why don't we use a Spitfire as a reference point for the F-22 Raptor?

The main problem facing Formula 1 in a Gran Turismo game is that the licence for the rights to the World Championship will demand that the game be Formula 1 exclusively. Polyphony would have to release it separately to Gran Turismo X.

Thats a very narrow minded hyperbole, i've done an apprenticeship with an F1 team and I can tell you 1st hand that all f1 teams(and le mans teams for that matter) are still very iffy about certain things on previous cars, as there are things done uniquely and also things that are illegal on the cars... as stupid as it sounds its all things that can be brought back, last year the BGP001, FW31 and TF109 had double diffusers but they were first seen on the Jaguar XJR14 (coincidently designed by Ross Brawn), this year we had the blown diffuser on the Red Bull, this was something that F1 cars had in the mid-late 80s and early 90s.

Also... you'd be shocked if you found out some of the illegal materials used in certain teams engines.
