I did the flip your car trophy at trial mountain, twice and it did not count it do I have to o an entire lap before I can get it??

Did the game have to reset the car on its wheels? That's the key part, from my understanding.

Edit 2: I can't get rid of my money to get the tropie I've got something like 24,864Cr.

Buy a used car worth somethingty4cr. Somethingty14cr would be better, to get to a multiple of 50. Somethingty64cr would be even better to get a multiple of 100. Then buy parts or carwash (or 2,000cr to repaint) to get down to 0cr.

I think it may be cumulative, every car I have bought I have bought the same tuning parts for; all engine, all turbo, all intake, all exhaust, all drivetrain and nothing more. My cars have so far ranged from dirt cheap to over 100k and I got this trophy last night whilst tuning a car that was around 20k~.

It could still be either then, really.

Have you kept track of all your tuning spending so far?

Pure speculation, but i suppose hidden trophy three means that you manage to get the tool you use for it. As a prize?

EDIT: I think the easiest way for Penniless (if youre starting out) is to do some liscenses, get to level one, and buy a spoon CR-Z. That takes 50 000cr and gives an all right starting car. Lolz

I also think "Loony Tune" is an accumulation of money spent on tuning parts not necessarily all done to 1 car, I say this because the Trophy popped up when I bought a lightweight window set on an otherwise un-tuned car BUT I have spent quite a bit on other cars ! which makes me think it is a value that has to be spent on parts.

You don't get any credits for the licences - and you need 30,000 more than your start fund for the Spoon.

Sorry, I haven't. However, it can't be too hard to work out how much I have spent as I turned the game off just after getting that trophy. I'll have to go through each of my cars and see how much I spent on each one. Hopefully that will give the magic figure. If I can commandeer the telly tonight I'll break out the calculator.

How does the game calculate the Trophy %age ?

I have 20 of the 58 trophies, thats 34.4%, but the game says I have 29% ?

Either, the game rates Gold/silver/platimun as worth more %, or there are some missing off the list ?

Your in-game stats won't reflect your PSN Trophies in any way. Your PSN Trophy list will reflect platinum being worth more than gold, gold being worth more than silver and silver being worth more than bronze.

Bronze = 15 points
Silver = 30 points
Gold = 90 points
Platinum = 180 points, but doesn't count toward the % complete for the game

So, for this game, you have:
53 Bronze x 15 = 795 points
4 Silver x 30 = 120 points
1 Gold x 90 = 90 points

Total (not counting plat) = 1005 (pretty much all PS3 games have around 1000 points).

The % complete, then, is based on total points out of 1005, so one bronze trophy counts for 1.49%, etc, and of course there's some rounding involved.

I don't want to take anything away from this site or you, Famine, but you guys are welcome to check out the guide I am working on for ps3trophies.com as well (linked in my sig). You guys are great at what you do for Gran Turismo, while we pride ourselves on being the best when it comes to trophies... :)

Within One Hundredth
Win a race by a margin of 0.01 seconds or less
Difficult to do on purpose, but it should crop up during gameplay accidentally. If you want to engineer it, anything with closely-matched cars on simple tracks - the first NASCAR special event, notably - will do it.
i just got this trophy with a margin of 0.02!!

it was also a 2 in 1 trophy!

just do the subaru wrx vs evo trophy (i did a one lap race in daytona) an drive one lap with one of the cars and park right before the finish line. then take the other and do the same..
then you just have to accelarate with both at the same time and drive over the line and you got both trophies!!

Couple of other things to remember: If there is no used car with somethingty4cr, go do something so the lot changes. Also, if there is one but you can't afford it, earning extra cash will be quicker than waiting for a cheaper one in your range.

From starting out there are two incredibly simple ways to do it (I didn't be cause I wasn't paying attention to trophies at that point).

Dealerships -> Mazda -> Eunos Roadster J-Limited (NA) '91 - 19,000
Tuning Shop -> Engine -> Sports ECU - 1,000

or

Buy 4 Karts.

Who IS the figure in the
Picture Exclusive photograph?

This pic is a spoiler!

It's not there! I can't get the trophy! :confused:
Camera in the right position, car at the right position and... nothing!
Is it dependant on the car? (I've tried a Ferrari 512BB and a stealth McLaren F1 and a stealth SLS AMG)
The time of day? (I've tried morning, noon and night)
My A-Spec level? (currently level 11)

You don't need the car in the picture. You have to zoom in, autofocus and get a close-up picture of his face.

Same thing with Portraitist.

Yes, I was with a Fiat 500 on the last chicane/turn at Trial Mountain, rolling start. Before I got to the start line I flipped it on it's roof and the game had to reset the car back on it's wheels. Could it be a glitch trophy or something?

Also, I tried the Data Analysist trophy, I took my Subaru Impreza STi at deep forrest a lap and a half, clean. Then I sat through the entire lap and never got anything?

Why are these problems popping up?

Got the Looney Tune yesterday.

I think it is based on how expensive the base car is. I got some little car for a cup (less than 100k) and put tunings on it worth much more (like 500k tuning shop material). Then I got the trophy.

Maybe it's like x5 the car prize in tunings ...

Interestingly I haven't got the trophy either... despite taking that picture that I posted! I'll try again and zoom in a little more.

What's also interesting is that the same character appears at the
Lucerne photo-location that you unlock during the Grand Tour.

400kph can best be done @ Special Stage Route 7, because the final straight (going into the tunnel for the second time) runs a tiny bit downhill (got it with a turbo equipped R10)

I got this last night. Framed it up from shoulders up and waited for him to look at me, and then snap. The other one is even easier as the woman is on her cell phone.

You have to do at least two valid laps to get the Data Logger option (it's in the post-race screen menu). Best bet is to do a time trial at Daytona or somewhere easy so you don't crash and invalidate your lap. Once you get a few valid laps (lap times show in blue on the right side of the screen), exit and then access the Data Logger.

It's 500k total.

400kph is 248.5mph for those who don't use kph btw. Don't the NASCAR's get up to that?

Nope. They'll top out around 225 mph. I won the GT World Championship and then tuned up the Veyron I got for it.

Fixed.

Four of the trophies are still a little mysterious - Loony Tunes, Multi-Millionaire, Dream Race and The Air of Experience. I'll fill these in properly when we have a more concrete answer.

You need to have 20.000.000 millions to have the multi millinaire
The dream rece will appear at the level 16 (Historic Racing Car Cup in the Expert Series)
To unluck the Loony Tunes you need to spend a cumulative total of 500,000 credits tuning your cars
And the last one, you'll need to max out the class level of one B-Spec driver

Good info 👍 What's the maximum rank of a B-Spec Bob then?

Thanks for the info!

I didn't see Penniless until several days into the game. I'm glad I completed it before I accumulated too much Cr.

Yeah, I forgot about that one until I was at like level 20. And it took a little bit of doing, but I finally got my credits to 80,000 and just bought the Acura NSX.
