If you're having trouble getting the 'Penniless' trophy because you didn't do it straight away then do this..

Visit a friend who has a PS3.
Create a new user and enter your PSN profile details - you'll need your credit card info too if it's set up on PSN.
Start GT5.
Buy 4 carts.
Get trophy.
Exit GT5.
View your trophies from the XMB so it syncs with PSN.
Delete user.
Go home and relax, you can just get on and enjoy GT5 again.

Roll over
Watch Out for Falling Objects

Those two Can be done one at the same time in arcade mode, in WRC car on Eiger Nordwand G Trail. Car rollover very easy and there also damages visible.

And as for GT-R Official Record there is nothing that could be done except trying to keep up with those split times

0.46.740
1.22.791 under first bridge
1.55.880
2.46.662
3.26.848
3.55.033
4.46.744
5.22.843
5.54.784
6.40.775 under second bridge
7.04.069 under third bridge

If you try to match them, then you will beat 7.29.03 Don't worry if you are loosing about two second id the middle of the track there is good chance to gain lost time. But still this is really hard one, but for those who beat entire AMG School should do no problems. Only thing is to learn what those tires can do and what can't.

Anyone got the 111 Meters a Second Trophy?
I managed to get up to 411km/h in a Mazda 787B by drafting and it didn't give me the trophy, I've gone above 400 quite a few times too.

Upgraded my Bugatti and did it on Le Sarthe (No chicaine) in arcade was about 255mph when the icon displayed

You need to have 20.000.000 millions to have the multi millinaire
The dream rece will appear at the level 16 (Historic Racing Car Cup in the Expert Series)
To unluck the Loony Tunes you need to spend a cumulative total of 500,000 credits tuning your cars
And the last one, you'll need to max out the class level of one B-Spec driver

Just like to confirm that Faria0808 wasn't completely correct with the above. Just passed the 10mill mark and was awarded the multi-millionaire trophy. Shame that, was all geared up for a long weekend of grinding to 20mill.

A few notes on the Human Stopwatch trophy.

First of all it seems it takes a total of four laps all within two tenths; one lap for a target time then you must be within two tenths three more times. I know I ran off strings of three laps all within two tenths several times and never got the trophy. I even quit out of the game to check the trophy list in case I'd missed the notice of winning it.

The first time I strung four laps together, up popped the trophy in the upper right corner of the screen.

I did it while grinding for 98k cash at Indy with a Nascar car. I suspect a lot of people will earn it here without really trying for it specifically; it'll just kinda happen in the course of doing this race over and over.

Tune the car so you can drive it flat out the entire race, no brakes or lifting off needed. Basically that means just maximize the downforce. Your first lap will be 51-52 seconds, the next four should all be 44.8 give or take a few hundredths.

This is how I always read it.

Complete three consecutive laps with time within 0.2 seconds of the Best Lap Time
Three laps within .2 seconds of your best lap. 3+1=4

Pro tip: You don't need to exit the game, or race to check trophies. Pause, hit the PS button on your controller to bring up the in-game XMB, check trophies. This will show what you have currently done but not sync with the PSN servers unless you check your trophies in your PSN profile or compare trophies with someone on your friends list.

The most consecutive way I have found o do it is the Racing Kart on Indy. You can hold it full throttle the whole time, so as long as your line is remotely similar you will get it.

Stock Toyota Minolta on Indy, flat out, tight line, easily get 5 laps in a row within 2 tenths of each other.

Can someone take a picture of the Honda building for that "Take your honda home" trophy.

I honestly can't find it, the descriptions says it's by the castrol signs. Well, there's 2 sets of castrols at the beginning of the race and about 5-6 buildings in that area. Which building is it? I've taken a picture of my civic in front of all of them in that area...

Ah, very nice, I didn't know that! Thank you very much. +rep!

I know this is probably a stupid question, but what does "XMB" stand for?

On another note, the 111 meters per second shouldn't be a challenge either. Maxxed out Veyron + SSR7 = 256 mph (248 mph/400 kmh required).

I found one of the 300,000k cars. The 1954 Chevrolet Corvette (C1). It runs 89,000+ credits and has something like 312,000km. I'll grab a pic of the garage screen later on.

XMB = Cross Media Bar, Sony's name for the menu on the PS3 and PSP.

Hahaha I actually had the trophy before hand I just never noticed it!

I still can't get the trophy for rolling over any tips to roll over? Best Places? Best Cars?

Final corner at Trial Mountain there's a massive banking on the inside. I've rolled twice, one in a rally, once on the tyres at the end of the GVS pit wall.

Ok did it, thx

Get the fastest car you have and go to Le Mans No Chicanes and crash head-on into the tyre wall at the end of the loooong straight at full speed. Should flip your car. :dopey:👍

Apparently, you don't have to get all golds in events for the Halls. I got all Gold in Expert Races except a Silver in the All Star race and it gave me the prize car and trophy for completing all the Expert Hall Events.

Did the GTR at the Ring Record at my third attempt tonight, 1st attempt I lost it coming on to the long straight (though the lap had probably gone before then), 2nd attempt I touched a bit of grass going down in to Aremberg, so very messy and finally hooked it on the 3rd attempt and came through with a 7'28.665.

The drift trophy can wait till the end of the game.

The drift trophy is the only one i'm worried about i just don't do drifting. I had a little go an could only get about 1000 points, i don't know how long i will be bored of practice to train for getting 10,000 points. Shame on PD for putting this in the game, it's not racing.

Get 10,000 points or more in a Sector Mode Drift Trial

You can find Drift Trials in Arcade Mode. Each contains sections through which you want to drift (controlled sideways slide) as much as possible to earn points. The longer you can hold your drift through each section, the more points you'll get, but you have to be careful, because if you hit the side of the track too hard or spin too far around, you'll lose whatever points you had earned in that section.

The Charmonix Main tack seems to be the best option for earning this trophy - if you can master the first section, you can get most of your points (6000+) there and then you just have to be passable in the last four to finish it off. I suggest using the Focus RS WRC 07 '08.

Well, COLORFUL doesn't seem to work. I have 257 separate color names with multiples of each item for many. The number shown in the right top corner is the number of different colors, not total number of color items. So, what gives? I see that I have 8 different blacks for example, from different manufacturers, but with the same name. If they count as one color, like the game seems to think, why give them separate spots and not just group them into a single black tab?

The 1000 car trophy says "fill your garage with a 1000 cars". Does sound like you can get 1000 carts and get the trophy.

Got my COLORFUL trophy at 261. Makes no sense since without the repeats with same names I was at about 248.

Is it just me or are PD being a bit mean with the trophies in this game? One gold trophy that sounds nigh on impossible to get?? :scared:

Thanks for the tip, did it first time!
Just goes to show, it's not just about the skill, it's about the knowledge of where to go and what car to use, i used a WRC C4 BTW.

............
As for that Gold trophy if you get that you're pretty much guaranteed an instant Platinum Trophy.
