Is it just me or are PD being a bit mean with the trophies in this game? One gold trophy that sounds nigh on impossible to get??

👎 If does then this would take weeks, no months maybe I did my platinum in Wipeout HD and did not spend so much time making it.But i am not going to give up. After platinums in games like Ferrari Challenge and Super Car Challenge, Shift, Wipeout HD, this is going to be the most valuable trophy. Questions stills remains, when? Will my driving skills let me to do gold in Vettel Challenge?

Last night I needed a bit of fun from the game so I got the Dream Drifter trophy. Came on to report my findings and see the posts on here.
Like yourself I used the WRC C4, it is much easier to drift and control than the Focus WRC, after a few attempts I worked it out and was only 100 points short of 10,000 going into the last sector. Fun stuff and a nice 'coffee break' from the game.

I decided to shell out $111k for an Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA 1600 '65 (even though it was a duplicate) to pick up my 300km Trophy!
What's with the pricing?
Perhaps my Sprint GTA was the first one ever made?
Perhaps Jackie Stewart drove it after his win at Monza?

I did these trophies in Arcade Two Player mode with a friend:
111 Meters a Second - Drafted each other using Bugatti Veyrons on SSR7
Within One Hundredth - Stopped before the finish line and just drove side by side
Arch Rivals - Chose the appropriate cars and just raced head on
Watch Out for Falling Objects - Hit each other using rally cars
Total a car by flipping it over - Cape Ring is the best place to do this

I bought a used 1970 Charger that had over 300,000km on it and I never got a trophy for Maximum Mileage. 50,000+ credits down the drain. I already had one. Did anyone ever get this trophy?

I got my Max Mileage trophy fine - there was a pretty cheap car on the used cars quite early in my game so I grabbed it. Trophy popped no problem.
To see your trophies, hit the PS button, scroll up the the trophy collection and follow your nose from there. You don't have to exit the game to do it.
EDIT: Had a look - the car I bought was the Elan '62. I is a good little car which I also used for quite a few races.

Interesting trophy development:
#0 - #5 have been removed from the PSN:API numbering this afternoon, some descriptions have been updated (like the one for the GTR'07 record and the Impreza .vs. Lancer trophy), and the GameID has been altered.
The total number of trophies still stands at 50 but they've been renumbered - perhaps in an attempt to fool 3rd party sig generators.
To see the updated API output click here, then click "Raw Trophy API dump".
EDIT: Hmmm... only 46 trophies show in the API right now, not the original 50. I'll check through in a bit and see what's missing... it's not the 'Hidden' trophies because they're still in that output list...
EDIT EDIT: Beyond the Autobahn is now missing... and so is the drive 2000km (1000km?) trophy. It's not because I don't have them (I'm using my PSN:ID to extract this live data) because there are plenty of others showing up that I don't have!

Are you talking about the hidden text on the guide on the first page? If so, you need to click and drag your cursor over the blank grey area under the 'highlight to reveal' writing.
You should be able to see where the hidden text is by passing your mouse cursor over it. The cursor will change from an your standard pointer (arrow) to a text-input "I" shaped thing.

After getting the multi-millionaire trophy at 10mill, I decided to carry on to 20mill to see if you get anything special. All i got was a slap in the face as I found out the max credit limit is 20 mill. Oh well at least this will make getting the penniless trophy a piece of cake.
