Fixed.

Four of the trophies are still a little mysterious - Loony Tunes, Multi-Millionaire, Dream Race and The Air of Experience. I'll fill these in properly when we have a more concrete answer.

what i did was buy a nissan gtr spec-v and spent between 50,000-100,000 credits modding it.

I can confirm when you collect 256 colour paints you dont get the Colorful trophy
when i got 258 color paint then i got the Colorful trophy

It's when you get 256 unique colours. 256 copies of Super Red IV is one colour.

The count in the top right does not include duplicates. However I believe there is confusion as to what type of distinction PD are using to determine how many colours you have got.

Do two colours of the same name for different manufacturers count as 1 or 2 colours?.
Do two colours of different names but same hue count as 1 or 2 colours?

Im pretty sure a guy at the PS3 Trophies forum got it by topping up his garage with about 800 karts, so 1000 of anything seems to be the go.

It's a grey bar in Bob's stats screen, below the driving attribute ones. It is different to the 'experience level' bar.

Yes the experience bar/career bar are the same things. It's the grey bar just above his number of race wins/races completed statistic. For some weird translation reason it got called different things in different regions.

This was reported elsewhere on GTPlanet - the All Golds trophy: you do not need all golds for both aspec and bspec. Someone has got it (with proof) for completing golds only in Aspec.

Are the series trophies earned for completing a series in either aspec or bspec ? I did up to Endurance in aspec only at first, so cannot confirm. Needs further investigation but it looks like the series trophies are not tied to both aspec and bspec but either/or.

Just a tip for the Dream Drifter Trophy.

I went to Chamonix Main as suggested, but I found it much easier to earn this trophy in the TVR Tamora, compared to the WRC cars. The Tamora is very tossable and can easily sustain a long drift with just full throttle and countersteering.

Anyway, on my second attempt in the Tamora, I scored somewhere around 7400 points in the first sector alone, and had the trophy locked up by the end of the third sector. Final score was 12917, although there's a lot more points there to be earned, for anyone wanting to push well beyond 10000 points -- like I said, this was just my second try.

Had 6500 in the first sector but than I lost it nearly. Got my trophy with a score of 10086 hehe 👍

You win the trophy for Either A or B-Spec.

I have the Extreme trophy, but haven't finnished the FGT championship, whereas Bob has.

Well there is trophy for level 40 in A and another trophy for level 40 in B spec mode. And another for Golding every race and special challenge but i have no idea if this Golding every race and special is tied up only to A-Spec. We will have to wait a little much longer to find out.

I'm currently not that far from my Platinum in GT5, only three weeks now so until February i should have it

If you can make a point of completing Bspec first, then that should answer everything. ie If you get 'all gold' by golding all bspec racing before aspec, then we know that completing aspec is not mandated for either the all gold and series trophies.

For the "Colorful" trophy, the one for 256 paint chips, I just got it today and I hit dead on 256 colors while having duplicates. So I think it is cumulative and you don't have to have 256 individual paint colors.

This one seems incredibly random. There have been people who have waited til almost 300 paint chips before it appeared.
I dont have 256 yet, but with the free paints each day you login, its one of those trophies which will take care of itself (like most of the trophies in the game).

I think you're spot on with that. I got it just now when I was logged in to PSN past midnight, 261 colours iirc, but 251 before the gifted colours.

Im still a few weeks away from getting it. I havent recieved any gifted paint, so I shoud get it bang on 256 colors , if the theory below is correct (which sounds pretty good to me).

I just got the Colorful trophy with 262 paint chips and most of those are gifted from my alts and a ton are repeats
