Does anyone knows how to fill up this Career bar to the end? Because i think there a trophy for that. Mine driver won every single race, did gold everywhere and now is one level from enter last Endurance. So far i did like 5 of those 24 races and i was awarded very little in this career bar.

Yeah, it is another grind. :grumpy:

First, I got the Car Collector trophy - you need 1000 cars but multiples are ok. Maybe obvious but a least confirmed. I have been buying low-cost cars from the UCL every day for sometime, I think that this is most painless way of doing it. I noticed I was over 700 a few days ago and then did a double-grind with....

I need to fill bob's career bar and could see that completing BSpec would be circa 250 races. To fill that bar he has to take part in/or 'be alive' during 500 BSpec races, as I only use one bob - that means him. Whenever you complete a Bspec race all your Bobs age by one day whether they take part or not. The quickest way to grind Bspec days (unless someone knows better) is to run the Sunday Cup at Tsukuba repeatedly with the X1. This takes 2.5 mins and he laps the field twice in the 4 lap race.

So I started regenerating the UCL by running 5 Sunday Cups in Bspec and buying up <30K cars plus any others that took my fancy. Car Collector trophy out of the way and Bob's career bar is moving along nicely.

I suggest that you do not completely fill his career bar until after finishing Bspec in case he starts dying sooner than expected. I will also create 2 or 3 new drivers to share the 24hr Nurburgring just in case I need a Bspec driver(s) in future.

For the "Colorful" trophy, the one for 256 paint chips, I just got it today and I hit dead on 256 colors while having duplicates. So I think it is cumulative and you don't have to have 256 individual paint colors.
I think we need to be careful about the definition of duplicates. You can have a multiple of the same chip, ie the number on the right of the colour is >1, but you can also have duplicate names, eg multiple entries for the colour black because each chip came from a different manufacturer.

I did not note the number when the trophy appeared, like others it happened when the 10 bonus ones came through.

👍 It's working, my Career bar is moving slowly forward. I didn't saw that movement earlier because i was grinding 24 races.

Why didn't you just buy over 800 karts like I did? :sly: Those are cheaper than pretty much any UCD car. :P

It is quicker to buy Used cars per purchase.
It is not so much a grind by doing it as you go.
I have some really nice Used Cars aka 'others that took my fancy'
I do not need 800 of one vehicle and I will keep a lot of them regardless.

True, lol.

Hmm i had to ask this.

Should i first fill in Career bar to the end and then Run one last 24H race before reaching 40 level, because i need only 1.800.000 exp points to reach level 40 and with that unlock Last 24H Nurburgring Race.

I know now that, after reaching Level 40 Bob dies/retires call it how you want. So he will be not able to race anymore?

Or should i first grind missing 1.800.000 exp reach lv40, and then fill in Career bar? Is it possible?

What's the point getting full career if he dies/retires afterwards anyway? :P

I have only one Bob, never had more than one Bob. So i think it's obvious to just fill in this ridicule career bar and then set up two new guys to complete last 24h race. Can't see any other solution. I seriously don't care about B-Spec but i have to reach to Level 40 and finish last 24 race, stupid? Yes but necessary.

To get the trophy for completing the Extreme series, do I need t do it in A-spec or can I do it in B-spec?

To the admin, this would be really useful info to add to the first post description and it's only a couple of words.

After filling bob's career bar his performance starts to fall away, I have no idea how rapidly this is. What I will do is this:

get his career bar to 470 (done yesterday), finish off BSpec races (about a week away), return to the Sunday Cup Tsukuba to fill his career bar, return to ASpec and dreaming that by then there will an Endurance save option.

I will create one or two new Bobs to share the 24Hr Nurburgring, just in case I ever need to return to BSpec.

FYI: In my last 24hr Le Mans race I created a new bob and my 'virgin' bob, as a co-driver, came out of the race as a level 30 Bob with a nearly empty career bar !

Lol, level 40 in 2 races... :D

Nope, if I remember rightly it will take around 2.75 days to get a bob to lvl 40. First 24hr nurb race will get bob from 0 to around 37.5, but a second nurb 24hr will only get him from 37.5 to just into level 39.

The career bar gets filled up if other Bobs drive races. For instance, I kept my first Bob, he did all the races from the Sunday Cup through to whatever endurance race I'd unlocked at the time, and as I was blooding new Bobs (since the first had started to decline), the original ones career bar started filling up.

Problem with that is you lose a lot of money. Even if you buy a 7k cr car you can only sell it back for 2k or so. You lose 5k per car at least. That's what I did for a few days but then it hit me. I was at 800 cars or so 3 weeks ago and then just sat down for a couple of hours and bought 200 carts. The selling and buying is just as tedious as the UCD method but this way when it comes to selling, I only lose 3500 per car and they are all on the same screen under the same make and it makes it much easier to sell one after another.

Either will work.

Famine, don't know if this is regarded as obvious here, but this: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=161901, little discussion suggests it is possible to get the Platinum trophy, without even winning all B-spec races, so maybe it is necessary to edit some trophys in the first post. I'm not sure of course, just wanted to hint at it.

However, just getting to B-spec level 40 and getting a Bob to the peak of his career will probably result in winning all the races at some point. Except maybe the last 24hr suppose.

For all those who want to get platinum trophy, geting to level 40 is mandatory including winning all races in B-Spec mode to Gold. There is no taking cut backs, even if you had one race in let say Nascar Race in Silver then you will not get a trophy Gold Standard and after that platinum.

Proven as wrong ! Someone has the all gold trophy for Aspec only.

For the Dream Race Trophy, which would be the best choice for my cr20.000.000 out of the Jag, Ferrari or Ford. Or is it just a matter of personal preference?

You win the Jaguar doing the Indy500 endurance race. So that one :D
