Heyy this thread has been quiet for a whole week :) Hopefully we will keep it that way considering some news are coming from Sony (hopefully something about GT5) March 31st. But I highly doubt it has anything to do with the game, hope I'm wrong though.

I need a good whine, here goes....

PD you suck BIG TIME - wheres the news? Come on sort us out!!!

I bet no other software has has a whining thread about them - are you proud about this? eh? eh?

You are soooooo slow!!!!

End of whine.

I feel so much better now.

That's right Craste yell it out, yell as loud as you can (pat on the back) , let your emotions go you'll feel better :D This is the place for it.

I'm so glad we have this place, it's a good release.

Talking about about Releases, its about time PD released GT5, I mean they take the absolute pi...

Sorry.
:)

It's a video game for crying out loud, not the Manhattan Project!! GIVE US SOME INFORMATION!!!! AAAAUUUUUUUGGHHH!!!!!!!!

Ive already seen every single pixel in GT5P...

Please PD bring out an update which paints the tracks red so we get some variety...

This should be easy to do.

Wait till E3, and they give a release date of spring 2010. You think there's whining going on now, this thread will be smoking!!:sly:

-> I whine on people who keeps on whining about GT5 for taking too long like It's the second coming! Damn, I know the wait is stupid long; but stressing about it makes it even worse!

But letting your frustration go in this thread sometimes helps even if it's for a couple of minutes. But I know what you're saying. We shouldn't stress ourselves like that, after all it is ONLY A GAME (very good one.... yeah I know...yadayada.... but it's still only a game.)

If they give us a release date at E3, it will mean the game is already on its way to stores 👍 because PD doesn't give release dates until about that point haha

Every possible PD complaint has been beat to death by now. But given the circumstances it can only be expected. I won't add to the chorus, but I sure won't tell it to stop singing. It's been quite a wait. PD MUST expect this pressure and needs it to drive them.

For those who think fan pressure will drive PD to cut corners and release an unfinished game...

The pressure from fans is probably the least of their worries. They have 2 major pressure points right now - their bank account and Sony. They need to sell some games and make some yen, and Sony probably wanted this game a year ago and aren't happy. But Kaz has enough power to do what he wants with the game within a timeframe that's acceptable to Sony (presumably). So I'm positive the game will be 99% solid. But only God (and I don't mean Kaz :irked:) knows when we'll get it.

we need to let polyphony, and SCEE realize that not releasing any info is bad for business.

we need to send a small piece of rubber to both companies, imagine if all gt fans did this, millions of envelopes with a piece of rubber!

its got many tv shows reinstated they didn't send rubber, they sent peanuts and also sesame seeds I think.
so if we did that I think we would at least get a progress update. I think its only fair we get some info a few pics, and a track list/car list and a rough release date.

so I say we start sending a small piece of rubber next Monday

I'm sorry for living under a rock, but I would like to know what kind of message would a bunch of rubber bands send to Kaz?:dunce:

I wish PD and Sony would get some PR. it's not just PD either, it has also been Sony mostly with the Home situation. I don't know if PD realizes it or not but a large majority of the base that would buy GT5 has gone away since it's taken so long. GT is supposed to be one of Sony's signature brands(one of the few they actually have left from the original PS) and they are really just letting the series slip away by letting PD do whatever they want. I'm not going to say I won't buy GT5 because I will have it reserved the day the official release date is set. At this point in the development most games with this level of a fan base would already have a couple hundred photos and a few videos of game play. It gets annoying having Kaz saying it will be here whenever we feel like it, if we feel like it is probably what it really is. I have a feeling they are taking so long because they fear this will be the last GT they make, hopefully it won't though.

To feature CAR shows for people that love cars.. Some people can not watch TOP GEAR lets say, or some hardcore DRIFT videos from Japan.. you can always find it on the NET..

but oh well.. they spend too much time for it NOW .. they should think about it once they finish FULL game!

Yeah they stoped make money with the game, they look for other ways to make money. Thats ok but don´t forget the game...

I can't even remember last time I went to GTTV. Just like NoxNoctis Umbra said they should think about it when they release full game.

How is it they include the popular cars found in other games, as well as unique slow cars, yet don't seem to want to include more sporty unique cars? Examples: Ford Escort/Sierra Cosworth (non-rally), BMW 850 or M6 (80's model), etc. Hell, why no vintage Mustangs! (save for the Shelby GT350)

I of course do commend their increased use of unique cars (Audi RS2, BMW 2002, Chrysler Prowler, etc.) so they are moving in the right direction.

GTP seems pretty dead lately.

I was going to show a picture of a wasteland, but couldn't find one worthy. So I posted a cheerful picture instead :)

Here's a good whine, why is Prolouge still forty bucks? I'm a huge fan of the series having played gt2 on bleemcast (so shiny) and gt4 since launch, but I still hesitate to spend two thirds of the price of a game I am going to buy again in a year anyway. :banghead:
I mean, why hasn't it dropped to twenty yet? I thought it was going to six months ago.:ouch:

Kaz, you could have easily doubled your sales of prolouge with a simple price cut.*

-General

*I, of course, base my statistics on absolutely no reasearch whatsoever.

I hate clowns...
lol.

And I think the longer and longer it is before GT5 comes out -or is set a release date- when it DOES eventually come out, the tiny little bugs and errors (maybe there won't be any, but that's incredibly unlikely) will be noticed, and if something isn't right with the game, then there are going to be a LOT of unhappy customers.

I myself don't have a PS3, and as of yet have no intentions of getting one, but when I can I will, although GT9136 will probably be out then with the latest Ford CurtainRail Hovermobile (J) from the year 10,031.

:nervous:
