If there is enough interest for yet another race, Which Track?

the 787B, now that's a noise you could set your bowels too! the Weider in real life (well on the youtube footage) sounds incredible, the game sounds like NISSANS version of electric tool's!
 
After the update a lot of cars got louder I think some even seem to have the inside cam zoomed in closer to the steering wheel I mean .
 
I haven't noticed much in the way of camera views, but I have noticed that tire wall on Daytona Road is a lot closer to the track, all the bumps and kerbs are amplified, particularly the world circuits,
 
I drove the Petronas & Denzo Sard Lexus's and even-tho they're fundamentally the same car I seem to be a half second faster in the Denzo Sard. Also the Sard doesn't feel like the front damper is working so stiff like with the Petronas. I also gave the Yellow Hat Supra a spin and it does have some series trap speed, but not worth it for the lack of turn in you get with the less frontal downforce. I was the most impressed with the Nismo Z for all around choice, but dave snatched for this round so I will make do with Mr Petronas!
 
Thanks to my research I'm the only one who has run the 350Z in this spot race series, Cam was meant to but didn't run,

Its because of the Denso spark plugs.

That's not true. The Petronas had Toyota factory drivers. Juiichi Wakisaka and Andre Lotterer (at the time). The SARD team was nowhere near them in the standings in 2008. Even the Zent Cerumo was ahead of the Petronas. In 2008, the Zent placed 2nd in drivers standings, and the Petronas placed 3rd. The winning car/driver was the Xanavi Nismo GT-R.

Andre Lotterer might not be Toyota factory anymore but isn't he still driving the Petronas SC430?
 
Lotterer is with Audi, not Toyota. He drives the R18 E-Tron Quattro and won the WEC Drivers championship this year.
 
ah, yeah I watched the Silverstone 6 hour this year, his name was always up the top 5, figured he was in the Toyota, the worst part about being Australian is we don't get really any European racing, we get the F1 and the odd BTCC event, we used to get the world GT-1 to GT3 series, DTM, WTC, Euro F3 and Macau GP race week, all live usually with a highlight show 2 weeks later, now we just (emphasis on just) get NASCAR and Grand am, and the Le Mans 24 Live,

So please excuse my lack of info on drivers,
 
FYI you can watch those WEC races on their website (when their live)- fiawec.com!

Gotta question, you keeping track of points or is this just a 'for fun' series?
 
thanks for the info, usually I try catch it live but if not, thanks for youtube, they have a channel,

just for fun mate, its not a series, its a series of spot races, mainly because of the length of the races, we get the usual 9-10 but its hard to find 2 hours a fort night for everyone plus we tend to get a lot of rage quitter's that will never return,
 
I am actually really exited for the race this week, I can't really practice as I want to save my arm for the race but I can't wait to see some good racing!

GT500 racing is just the peak of GT5 for me, nothing beats it!

If it gets going, why not make it a full blown Super GT series and add GT300 cars to the the line up. 8 of each class. It is REALLY fun. I raced with the guys who started that GT400 series in a series that raced both GT300 and 500 machines on the same track.

8 cars on track who you are racing against vs 14/16. Nothing beats a full grid of equal cars

that's what Chqr's original idea was, but with testing under tuning prohibited the GT300 car's are very un equal, and I'm really getting annoyed with these so called GT400 series, why isn't the AUDI R8 LMS and BMW GTR and other car's that can be detuned to those spec's,

We're having enough issue's on the op just balancing out the current JGTC 300 cars, adding another 2 chassis in the 1st season would be a nightmare! :crazy:

Before People couldn't get more than 16 drivers to show up for a race, but now that people are starting to show up for really good series & spot races I'm hoping GT6 gives us a 36 driver grid or at-least a 24 car grid. Especially events for mixed chassis series & events. 1 race I know that will be a blow out is the pure WEC 24hrs Le Mans event which had pretty much 2 full rooms. Once us the planet gets really organized we will need bigger grids for sure and that I cant wait! 👍
 
I'd like to see 55 cars for mixed class event's, how cool would that be, 43 NASCAR's at Daytona, 33 cars for an Indy 500,

I know that thing's for online will be much improved if GT6 comes out on the "PS4" and Hoping that the current car list... well an updated version comes with the game I believe I may end up with the best multiclass race series ever seen on GTP

YES I WOULD!Thanks for reminding gippone

STARTING PROCEDURE FOR SPA!

1) qualifying finishes and the race is started,

2) once the race countdown timer has finished you must wait on the grid,

3) we will check to make sure the qualifying order is correct,
3A) if there is an issue with where your position is type C for current and Q for qualified, therefore it should read for expample C11 Q8, thus meaning your position on the grid is 11th and you believe you qualified 8th, DO NOT MOVE until I double check the qualifying results I will have written down, then I will insttuct you to do so,

4)when that is done we will commence the warm up lap SINGLE FILE4A) remember this wont be a full warm up lap, so you will want to do your warm up lap preparation's very quickly,

5) The race will start when the leader get's passed the 1st apex of Les Combes, THERE WILL BE NO PASSING UNTIL YOU ARE OUT OF THE 3RD TURN OF LES COMBES Then the race is on!
