Driving with no ABS is poor on GT5. Becareful you don't wreck someone its a very dodgy thing no ABS

iRacing, you should give it a go if you like a full sim.

No ABS is all about go slow to go fast. It just sucks because you have to give it your full attention. Its not poor. If you gave your car a full brake pedal for too long it will lock, if you don't have ABS.
 
I had a screw up at work so I got called in early this morning, but now that we start an hour earlier I will be at the next event. Let see if I can keep my streak of top 5 finishes going on' 👍
 
I'll take the XANAVI NISMO Z for the next event, had connection issues tonight as you all could probably tell.
 
Sorry for leaving, I got a bit pee'd off as the car I had just was awful. I don't really like these regs really, the Takata was always going to kill it.

When you push hard and still 3-4 secs off that just kills your urge to race.
 
Not a bad race just didnt have the pace to keep with that standard nsx , litchi was giving me competition but he made a mistake and i got a good gap to him , i then pitted a 3rd time to try and set fastest lap which im sure i didnt .

Good fun tho , should be better if there is a nex time
 
well.... the reg's aren't that bad, Calum was just that fast, he was .200 off his fastest lap in a supra, its a case of the circuit, I think gippone won at le mans in the lexus, and stormed through the field at motegi, I would like to run Fuji next but that would be another NSX track, as would Suzuka, I'm thinking an American circuit, perhaps Laguna Seca?
 
Maybe I just couldn't get the car to work.

I need to test the regs really before I say anything about them really
 
the worst part was you didn't get the full experience as we ended up with 6 people to finish the race, we started with 13, and there was only one other lexus you could compare yourself to, the Enos, they are capable of the lap times but you really need to milk it, I noticed that with the Z I can just sort of wobble around and get a lap time, but with the Epson NSX you really have to work it,

Hey i am sorry i haven't shown up yet. I am in the process of moving still. I am moving this week and hopefully with be set up by January. I am still planning on running in this. I got my Raybrig all ready to go too
 
i was 8 seconds off in quali and after 3 1/2 laps was miles behind, what didn't help i forgot to buy the medium tyres so struggled

I just was just done, the HSV was in the gravel and within 2 laps he took me again. I just hated the car, wasn't competitive
 
Without a tune these cars are pretty far apart. I think if you're going no tuning allow some cars more power (say 510hp for the Lexus and HSV) and 502hp for the NSX.
 
Guy's there is a problem that I may not be doing another race between here and christmas, it is possible that I may and you will get your 2 weeks notice, I will know more come Monday,

@Seth, the HSV doesn't need any more power, I used the 350Z which seems to be the middle ground, once I lost the draft it was gone, I couldn't even beat it in a drag race, but I may allow the lexus to get a 10BHP improvement, BUT, gippone has no problems getting it around a track,

@ everyone, there were 2 silly rules I put in place for the last 2 race, stupid rule #1, an all HSV team of 4 car's, stupid rule #2, making everyone find a different vehicle/ not allowing you guy's to use your preferred, next event both will be abolished, there will be 5 cars fielded by Honda, 3 NSX and 2 HSVs, end of! Lexus and Toyota will be combined 5 entries, 3 lexus and 2 Supra, or the other way around, NISSAN, the only car maker with 5 competitive cars, YTBD, thinking maybe 2 350Z and 3 Skylines,

@chris, chqr's idea is his series alone, yes I will be relaying my finding's on what works best but its up to him in january to sort out how he does things,

Sorry guys, I had a power down, anyway I was having fun even though I was in the last position, in the last laps I was closing the gap with cars in front of me.

My choice for the next race is:

P Takata NSX, allascato/allascato

Dave would you have a problem with someone else hosting the race in the case that you are not available to do it in 2wks time? 💡
