Clay?? The car is practically new.. I don't think you'll need it for a while.

IMO cars usually need it the second they leave the dealer's lot. Rail dust and other contaminants get in the paint during shipping, storage, and even manufacture. The clay barring definitely took quite a bit of crap out of the paint that didn't come off by just washing and bug/tar removal.

Unfortunately the 3.5 hours I spent doing all of it didn't leave me much time for photography, but I got a few photos, even though most of the time the lighting wasn't the greatest:

Uh oh. Time to upgrade your Photobucket account to pro. ;)

Recommend it. Gives you ton storage and bandwidth. As well you can load higher res pics. Worth the coin IMO.

Yeah, looks like it burned through all my bandwidth in barely over a day, should be back online shortly.

I got my A pillar gauge pod but they screwed up on the gauges I ordered, I ordered two Aeroforce gauges but they only sent one, and since it's only 1 they sent the wrong wiring harness also. Should have the right order soon hopefully.

There isn't really much to the Speed of Sound gauge pod I got, it's a factory pillar with holes cut in it and generic gauge pods riveted to the holes. It works though, and when you consider the cost of the factory piece they're probably not really charging you much. I wonder if I can sell my non modified piece back to them as a core.

Also got the Airraid washable/oilable filter and the passenger side JLT oil separator and put those on. My factory paper filter was already pretty filthy, I guess a product of taking air straight in from the front of the car. And the separator is actually working, the drivers side one didn't seem to be doing much but I guess on the 5.4 they don't, it's practically just a cosmetic mod.

I'd had my MGW shifter mailed to a friends house en route on my road trip and it didn't make it in time, so he mailed it to me so hopefully that will be getting installed soon also.

That's a great car, GT5Junkie. I'm not really into American muscle, but the current Mustangs really look awesome, especially with the latest refresh. The 2010+ Mustang and the Challenger are bringing sexy back to modern muscle cars.

Finally got my gauges. Forgot that I also got a shift light though, since it took so long to get the gauges, so I'll install the shift light this weekend. It'll get mounted to one of the gauge pods, right in between the two.

That is one seriously nice-looking 'Stang. The car has a classy, subtle look to it with no stripes 👍

Gauge pods look good, too. Something different from the typical pillars with the pod housing molded into them.

Juneau.... that place is awesome. Say, for the stripes, get matte black ones, and get some on the side (under the door) too. My dad got the thick ones in silver (since his is a dark grey) and the Mustang stripes on the side. Looks very nice.

Yeah, I think they look pretty good, and they use a factory a pillar, so there's no color or texture issues, you just pop the old one off and pop the new one on. Took me about 5 minutes to hook up the gauges to the OBD2 port and run the wiring and put the pillar on.

The shift light will be a little more of a hassle, but still shouldn't be too bad.
