The Rules
Drivers will only post times that comply with the following conditions.
Drivers will save a ghost replay for all times posted except Daytona Speedway this track requires a full replay. These replays do not need to be posted any where , but race officials may request a copy of a drivers replay at anytime during and up to 12 days beyond the event deadline.
Around the edges of every track we are running except for London is a painted white line that changes to yellow at pit accesses and occasionally stops and starts at copings and similar boundaries.
Both tires on one side of the car must remain within that outlined area. When a tire is completely outside of the paint stripe or a coping marking the track perimeter it is considered outside of the allowed racing surface. You may allow two tires to come in contact with runoff areas , shoulders, copings and sidewalks but both tires on the opposite side of the car must remain within the tracks painted outline. In the case of London where the track makes use of side walks and is completely outlined in barriers any surface inside the barriers is considered an allowed racing surface.
The short of it .Think tennis on the line is good ...out is out.
At no time will a driver post a time for a lap in which the car comes in contact with any course barrier, such as but not limited to guard rails , walls ,railings and hydro barriers.
Posts will be made to this thread .Drivers will post "ALL" of their times for each track in a single post and will update that post as needed to record progress. All times posted must be for laps made during the events 12 day period and must be posted before the event deadline.
In the event that more than 50 drivers participate in any given event only the top 50 posted times will score finish position points. Drivers finishing outside of the first 50 positions will be able to score participation points.
Considerations for drivers with obligations such as vacation or situations such as illness will be handled on a case by case basis and must be requested in writing to Postmaster@TunersPit.com no less than 6 days prior to event deadline. In the event that an extension to the deadline date is awarded the extension can not exceed 6 days from the event deadline.
