Historic versions of tracks like Monza would be awesome. Maybe as an DLC like NFS Shift 2 got them or was it Forza?
I think it would be really great if GT6 was nothing but tracks and you had to buy the cars you wanted from the PlayStation Store. Stack the game with great tracks like Sebring, Daytona, Barber Point, Silverstone, Melbourne, Sarthe, Nurburgring, Road Atlanta, Leguna Seca, Spa Franc, Twin Ring, Circuit of Americas, Yas Marina, Buddh, Suzuka, Fuji, Monaco, Paul-ricard, etc.
Less cars, more tracks.
^ It may really might be, since Alfa is somewhat a strong brand for PD (w/ Brera & 8C)...
I'm sorry, but that's a horrible idea. Like zedman has said, some people don't have online connectivity, which means that they would have bought GT6 for nothing since they can't go online to buy their cars. Cars should only be bought online as dlc and nothing more.
Anyway, I would be happy if there's at least 400 cars in GT6. As long as they choose each of the better trims of each car. Although, it would be nice if PD could actually have over 1000cars that were all fully detailed and had more diversity this time than just being a bunch of PS2 quality duplicates.
Yes, but unfortunately it seems to be a trend to develop games that are close to being useless without an internet connection. I remember when I temporarly lived at a friends house he played a shooter called red river or something, storymode made a rarely 2hr gameplay on the hardest level, very dissapointing. (for him, I don´t play shooters)

Well that's not exactly a trend basing it from one game.
MOVING THE 🤬 ON
That one game was an example
Its not a "trend" tough is it?

Wow. Started a fervor over that, eh? If GT5 isn't so online dependent what do you call Seasonal Events and Online Dealership.
And you do not have to charge for the cars. Anyone get the free dlc for the last few cars? Charge full price for the game and give the option of what cars you want...
Save hard drive space on saves and maybe do away with the long loading and saving times ingame. Doesn't solve no internet connectivity issues though, but how else do you get the new race course dlc and car dlc now aday.
Just my thought.
What the 🤬 are talking about?
Your ideia was, well... terrible and this justification is just... I don't get it.
Why would you do that? That's just nonsense. I haven't even bought DLC (I am a bit lazy for that), now buying my own cars, with my own physical money is just stupid. Sorry about that.

It´s complaints I often hear from friends and seems to concern mostly shooters. It depends on the genre of course, a jump and run is unlikely to be affected from this "trend". And so are Racing games, at least I hope they are. I don´t play shooters but I´m sure there wasn´t a problem listing many games, especially from that genre, to show that, like I said: "... seems to be a trend"
DLCs don't always cost money. Last few car DLCs have been free.

Hey ya frikken fool! Whats harder: buying a car from the car dealership on Gran Turismo or having to scroll through all the menus on Playstation Store for a single car and wait for it to download and then go back on the game, wait for that to fire up for like 5 mins, go on arcade mode, load again and then go to your cars list and realised you bought the wrong car.
YOU HAVE THE WORST IDEA OF ALL TIME! I DO NOT WANT TO SEE YOU ON THISTHREAD!ON GTPLANET!
Nice. Glad to see this is an open thread by open minded people. Ideas, just ideas. Thanks.

He doesn't have the whining partner, so he needs to argue with someone.
Woah, chill out Zedman. I think what he meant by getting cars online is by just downloading the cars you want to get and they get added to your game, then you can buy them from the dealership.
I'm sorry that you had to deal with us all going on your opinion. We're just telling you what we think of your opinion. Although, I do like the idea of choosing the cars I would want in my copy from downloading them off the PS store. I still say it's a bad idea just because of the fact that not everyone that plays GT has an online connection, it just wouldn't be fair to those people if every car in GT6 had to be acquired from the PS store.
I agree that it's not a perfect idea. I was just posting what I would like and a few of my buds. No problem with an open minded discussion. Just that Z'dude is slightly abrasive with his ownership of the threat and his 'my way or no way' attitude. Thanks, though. I'm not offended, rather amused by him actually.
