Generally i always considered Gran Turismo better than any racing game from its inception, because car selection was mostly based upon family, city & small or wagon cars.
- GT5 has started the "include-as-much-supercars-as-we-can" style which i consider too childish. (and too NFS-ish).
- It's nothing wrong to have some overpowered supercars (Viper, Corvette, SLR/SLS, Brabus), but the Gran Turismo should be different and offer lesser powered and cheaper cars we drive everyday too!
i.e. Fiesta as a small car with every petrol engines available, Mondeo as a family sedan/wagon with every petrol engines available and BMW 7/Merc S as a luxury sedan with every petrol engines available)
- Also its very important to have as many cars from same class as they can.
ie. Mondeo, Passat, Superb, A6, 159, Mazda6 etc. That makes class racing much more interesting (both Aspec and online).
- AND each of these cars should be RM-able based on from real racing events (even the smallest events), or to have some generic basic Race modification OR ability to use livery editor.
- Dont forget the real sound of cars and AMBIENT sounds too (grandstands should be FULL of people who should be roaring as the cars go by. Engine/exhaust sounds are 50% of the fun.
