I agree that it's not a perfect idea. I was just posting what I would like and a few of my buds. No problem with an open minded discussion. Just that Z'dude is slightly abrasive with his ownership of the threat and his 'my way or no way' attitude. Thanks, though. I'm not offended, rather amused by him actually.

Glad about, almost thought we would lose a member because of an idea

To improve the idea, you should be able to download the cars for free within the game, without having to go to the PS Store.

Agreed. Some tweaks and treats and could be a good idea actually

Hey ya frikken fool! Whats harder: buying a car from the car dealership on Gran Turismo or having to scroll through all the menus on Playstation Store for a single car and wait for it to download and then go back on the game, wait for that to fire up for like 5 mins, go on arcade mode, load again and then go to your cars list and realised you bought the wrong car.

YOU HAVE THE WORST IDEA OF ALL TIME! I DO NOT WANT TO SEE YOU ON THIS THREAD! ON GTPLANET!

20 points and you still think it's a good idea to be throwing around your abusive attitude?

And you have no say regarding anything related to GTPlanet. Overstep either of these boundaries again and you're gone.

The reason they do this is because whilst you're browsing for GT5 DLC; they think you'll come across something else you like the look of. They do the same thing in Supermarkets - they put the Milk and Bread (essentials scattered all over, and near the back) in two different places, so you walk past some chocolate and decide to buy some - or some soft drinks..

It's a way of making money..

Alright then, glad to see that you're alright & no problem. Feel free to share more ideas on this thread on what cars & tracks you want in GT6. I've been personally going crazy in this thread with my requests.

Why would you do that when they re all on the disk anyway :dunce:

So that you can still choose what cars that you want in the game rather than scroll through a bunch of cars that you don't care for until you find the car you want.

Yup, you should cut down a bit with your suggestions:sly:! You are pretty much suggesting every single car you know (which are lots of them) and the rest doesn't know what to post. Pokemon'd a bit "gotta post them all":)!
No offence, because I know more and more cars thanks to you.

XD I figured that I have been. I can't help it though, the thread is about sharing our opinions about what we want in GT6; I'm just listing everything that I would like in a GT game like it says. I'll back down on the requests though.

I know, we can get carried away easily, but keep on requesting. I quite enjoy your requests

You want a small garage? Then simply don't buy cars from the dealerships! Or sell them.
DLC cars get listed in the NCD if you haven't noticed it, so this wouldn't change anything there.

Well, I said I liked the idea of being able to simply get the cars you want to play with, which would take a while for me and wouldn't mind if GT6 ended up having cars being selected this way. Anyway, I never said that there was anything wrong with buying cars with in-game money and I personally like the Used Car Dealership feature of Gran Turismo in general. It's one of the things that go me into GT in the first place.

When did I say that I want a small garage? All I said was my assumption of why Hawaiian Viking suggested a new way of getting cars in GT6.

HAHAHAHA Chill out dude. Still funny but ok back on topic. What are we going to do with all these cars when/if GT6 is announced?

Alright, I'll explain myself further. I did NOT complain at all about the Used Car Dealership nor the Dealerships in general.
I know
As said before, I was simply giving an assumption to explain to Zedman to answer his question.
I know
Anyway, I don't get how you got me wanting a small garage full of cars from that comment. What I meant in that comment is that maybe some players would like the ability to just have the cars they like in the game rather than just scroll through the cars they don't like to get to them.
Scroll where? In the garage? The dealerships... oh no wait, not the dealerships as you just said. Therefore it's the garage, although you say the opposite. So I was right with assuming garage.

As I said to zedman, I don't mind scrolling through a bunch of daihatsu moves and honda civics in the UCD to find a car I was looking for. I like the way the dealerships were setup in the GT games. Although, I do find the UCD in GT5 flawed since about 80% of the game's cars are in it.
Now what? You're talking about dealerships and garages, but at the same time you're saying that you do not talk about garages and dealerships...

Basically you tried to explain to zedman what that other guy meant. And what I did is to show you that your reasoning doesn't make much sense. I'm not sure why you make this to such a personal conflict. It's not as if the following question couldn't be seen in a general sense:
You want a small garage? Then simply don't buy cars from the dealerships! Or sell them.
Counterargument regarding garage in that specific case.
DLC cars get listed in the NCD if you haven't noticed it, so this wouldn't change anything there.
Counterargument regarding dealerships in that specific case.

I don't know many other places where you can scroll through a list of cars, therefore I was assuming that you either mean garage or dealership. And as we just saw, I was right.

Really, where's the problem?

---

RandomCarGuy17, do you mean a search filter for the UCD/OCD?
No he was only showing a reasoning, which is in his eyes valid (maybe that's why I talked to him?), to explain Zedman why that what GranTurismo916 said could be a good idea.

Here's the quote we're talking about:
GranTurismo916
To improve the idea, you should be able to download the cars for free within the game, without having to go to the PS Store.

@ Slumpy Dumpy (I'm calling you that now on its kinda catchy) I agree with you. Just saying RandomCarGuy is nearly arguing against himself it seems... I dunno

And I don't want that you call me slumpy dumpy, because it's a little offensive in some way. At least it's not nice to hear, so better let it be.

I know many people don't like how "direct" my comments are. I often hear harsh, rude, ruthless, arrogant, etc. Thing is I'm not going to mince matters, but normally (in 99.999% of all cases) I try NOT to offend anyone. I certainly see that a few persons may feel offended due to simple overreaction, which I sometimes (rarely though) struggle to comprehend, because I'm pretty much the complete opposite of being temperamental. :dopey: But I can hardly change this.

Atongo said that?!?!?!?!!?!? But yeah, I read the first post Slump.
Atongo is his real name? Or is it another user?

Unfortunately we won't see F1 cars besides Ferrari's due to licensing restrictions: Codemasters has the exclusive F1-license and Ferrari is the only team which is allowed to give its own licenses.

Maybe we'll see another X1 type of car by Red Bull Racing again. And maybe some non-F1 open wheelers.

Alright, I know that I messed up and managed to confuse myself. Yes, I was mentioning about scrolling through the UCD, not the home garage.

I'm sorry about that mishap I had.
