GT6 "content" unlocked @ 5 million views.

What i see, blur in animations and passing obstacles,Very high res soft shadows, smooth gameplay looks to be locked 60 fps, i see no dips, Vastly superior next gen lighting and effects, you sure this is being run on a PS3?

It looks like a moving bull shot.

But with ever better shadows..

As my neighbor once said "you tube don't do 60 FPS dawg"

So we get a 2 minute video and a wallpaper lol

That was definitely worth waiting for.

Should have been some sort of unlockable to use in game. Oh well.

I'm also disappointed with the content but I guess it wasn't really made for the fans, and just the normal consumers who watch the video. Either way it would've benefited PD if they'd shown us better content. Ah well.

I think it's was ment to be released before GTA came out.

If PD REALLY want to pull a rabbit out of the hat, get the in-car GPS screens to work on cars so equipped. The FT86 shows each track you're driving, in the gauges.

I noticed that the odometer below the speedo dials, as well as the interior clock both work. Nice details, and I guess this means Silverstone has time change and most likely weather too.

Isn't it already been confirmed by Kaz as well as the Willow Springs and Matterhorn?

Also the video is honestly pretty disappointing. Its not even the full circuit, just the south part. At least if it was Willow Springs or Matterhorn lap it would move me.

I thouht the same. This was no direct gameplay from the PS3. Atleast a replay or created with better hardware (PS4 dev-kit).

As my neighbor once said "you tube don't do 60 FPS dawg"

It doesnt matter if the video is in 30 or 60 frames. It is probably not realtime gameplay from the PS3.

Exactly. This is obviously in-engine or "photomode graphics" footage (unless PD has some sort of Christian magic). It's the same thing as they did with GT5 trailers (example: http://youtu.be/aOxLqUzScxo?t=13s).

About High-Quality replays: I have tested it a while ago and couldn't spot any difference. The only thing it does is make the game run slow (as already said) on starts. After that, it runs smoothly. Other than that, when playing online it makes the car sometimes "stop" for a brief moment. If a driver is right behind you and this happens, he will crash you out of the track.

Kind of puts the video into perspective, that video is at 3.5 million views within 2-3 weeks.

The GTA 5 gameplay trailer has reached over 5 million in less than 24 hours!

I am not sure that the "Greatness Awaits" video is the content Sony was referring to with the 5mil views, looks more like it is for GT Academy. I believe we are going to have to wait and see if we EVER hit 5mil if more content is released. Can't imagine that the promise of extra content would be this video of someone doin a lap around Silverstone in GTA.

Don't try to kid yourself. That was it.

Because, it's GTA. Any video game that's reckless and violent, some people will buy.
Some is an understatement. The series didn't sell over 100 million copies to just some people.

GTA online just looks beautifully chaotic :scared:

Maybe PD will cook something else up... I mean, they couldn't have HONESTLY had this video to come out at 5 mil. if they weren't expecting it to hit the mark before GT Academy was launched, could they...?

So yeah, this could've been the original plan, but they may be able to change their plans now. They have time, too... I don't think PD can be THIS daft.

I already have one replay saved with the high quality mode but I was driving a standard car (it did seem improved though). I'll get round to doing one later with a 350Z for a good comparison, and I'll try to match the time of day the best I can.

I'll also capture live gameplay from cockpit view with all HUD info turned off, and then compare that with the replay from the same view and see how different they seem. The high quality replay I have at the moment is about 3-4 times bigger than a normal replay file insize.

As the frame rate takes such a hit (rather than being choppy, the game actually plays in slow motion as you can tell by the timer, makes you feel like you have superhuman abilities :sly:), I'll also capture that and then try to restore it afterwards and compare them too.

Any news? :)
