I just want new information!
We all want to know everything about GT6
I just want new information!
Claiming Sony has no motivation to generate buzz isn't "logic".
So how does the YouTube counter work? How often do they update the number?
Precisely. As opposed to the logic that a viral video with rewards for reaching milestones is gaining views as time goes on, so Sony must be manipulating the views in some way; and Google could even be in on it?

Well ... I mean Corvette updated the count at 3,040,711 about 30 minutes or so ago and my counter looking at YouTube is still that exact number. How often does YouTube update the numbers? When someone sees an ad or video (fully), a view is added automatically.
3,037,035 for me.
Its PS related not only PS4. We can see things like Rapture (from BioShock) , MacGrath (from Infamous 1,2) and an Infected (from The Last of Us) in the video.Given thats it's ps4 related. Its nothing really to do with GT6. But the fact that it unlocks GT6 content...... odd. The track at the back looks more Drive Club, The Crew or N4S Rivals. Still trying to spot all 35 references, im on about 25 atm.

Edit: Thanks Tornado
I hope what's behind the 5 mil mark is the entire new car list (Not including the cars already seen in GT5).
The presentation of the new LEAF GT for GT6!I hope what's behind the 5 mil mark is the entire new car list (Not including the cars already seen in GT5).

Don't worry. My hopes are rather low already for the content that's behind the number.Ha, very wishful thinking.
This works better on those forums , not HLDon't worry. My hopes are rather low already for the content that's behind the number.
But For my newest theory:
5.000.000 - 2.000.000
=3.000.000 (Our current view count).
Half Life 3 Confirmed.
Why am I so cruel???

Doesn't make any sense, because the view based unlockables are game specific.Don't worry. My hopes are rather low already for the content that's behind the number.

Shhhh... P.D. is working their vehicle physics in with Valve for Half Life 3.Doesn't make any sense, because the view based unlockables are game specific.

And here I just thought that I was pointing out that the idea that the only explanation behind the video gaining popularity is that Sony is manipulating the video viewcounts (which you have insisted to be the case multiple times based on absolutely nothing but a vague assertion that Sony needs to "save face") was ridiculous.Your insistence that Sony left it completely up to chance is the more ridiculous position.
I have even noted that there was precedent for such a thing. Imagine that.If you want to believe Sony is manipulating the viewcount of their largely meaningless publicity video with bots because they overestimated how much people actually care, fine. Companies have done it before, certainly.
I think the suggestion that a viral video failing is going to have a big effect on Sony is right up there when it comes to ridiculous positions.Your insistence that Sony left it completely up to chance is the more ridiculous position.
Can we move on? Speculating on what the content was better.
