GT6 "content" unlocked @ 5 million views.

From a marketing gimmick like this I wouldn't expect any kind of ground-breaking announcements or reveals, at best it's probably going to be some new screenshots maybe of the base versions of some of the cars that were confirmed with the Anniversary Edition game.

And that's a bad thing? Hell, a trailer would be great from this, even if only 30-60 seconds. As I mentioned already, anyone expecting some big surprise like a livery editor is going to be severely disappointed. It's going to be something very minor and small -- if it's a trailer, fantastic, even better than I expect.

That said, I still do think it's going to be something much worse, like a wallpaper.

I noticed the last few days have been very slow. We're talking about increases as little as 4K per update. Today, we've gained about 30-40,000 views. I hope Sony puts their ad in more places! :)
 
Just finished reading through this whole thread and I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet... maybe it's a release date hidden behind that counter. Just a thought.

Also that abridged version of the E3 video 1 page back is hilarious that is the funniest thing I've seen all day
 
I just saw the video as an ad during Street Outlaws (last week's episode) on Discovery channel!!! It's a out freakin time!!!!!

Honestly, anyone with this type of thinking is going to be severely disappointed. It's nice that the GT community is working to get this to 5 mil but I severely doubt the unlocked "content" will be anything worthwhile. It's not going to be a livery editor, some new mode in GT6, or anything like that.

Keep your hopes down and expect a GT6 wallpaper or something like that. And if by some miracle the extra content is something interesting, well, good thing you had low expectations. I'm going to facepalm to epic proportions when tons of people get vocal about their disappointment once the content is revealed and it's something extremely lame. Caution GT fans, do not expect anything else -- you're the ones creating your own unrealistic expectations.

Can't agree more. I call GT6 Wallpaper or GT6 dynamc theme at best.

Interestingly the AC content has been revealed, the 10 million requirement gone and it's just an audio track.

Based on all of that then i would expect at worst an exclusive image from the game, at best a short video showing off...something not very interesting.
 
Sony should just realize that this whole thing about locking out content and wanting us to unlock it by viewing an unimpressive video 5.000.000 times is a horrible idea.
 
Well clearly they've realised 10 million ain't going to happen anytime soon so they unlocked the AC content, 5 million they must think they can reach though. But yeah, it was going to be 10 million views for a snippet of audio from the game. :rolleyes:

We're on the cusp of 3.4 Million. Its slowed a lot, but its still going.



Bet if PD teased about the content behind the teaser, it would pick right back up :lol:
