2)Kaz is full of work at the moment please be patient.
3)You could check the Online racing series for now.

Oh. Well it's kind of a preference. All you get are some 15 special tuned cars and some other stuff.
20 cars displaying a special “Anniversary Edition” livery and performance enhancement
custom paint chips
custom race suit
custom race helmet
custom PSN avatars
1,000,000 in-game credits

Sorry I just posted from official site. I don't have the Anniversary Edition.

Well it is indeed more expensive, around 10 dollars more expensive.

Clearly, it depends on what is important to you. I bought the Anniversary Edition for multiple reasons:-

  • 20 AE cars - partially because I'm an amateur collector, also because I like the livery, and figured this was a one-time opportunity to get these cars
  • custom paint chips - because I'm into photography and there are some GREAT paint chips in the addons
  • custom race suit - also because I'm into photography
  • custom race helmet - photos again!
  • custom PSN avatars - rather unimportant to me, however I do use one of them.

In summary, I'd say I made my decision half and half based on my desires for the cars and the ability to choose a wider range of colors and clothing for photography.

EDIT: My Anniversary Edition did not provide a million credits. I think this varies by geography.

Does the custom race suit and helmet matches the Anniversary cars livery ?

the ones that i'm interested is the AE Cars, i like the livery and the car choices (Cobra Daytona looks badass in that livery) but i don't know if those 20 cars worth 10 bucks more or not, i couldn't care less for the other stuff. It is a better bargain than GT5 Limited Edition.

If you don't mind blazing through the career section, waiting for updates after that and actually having cars is important to you, it's probably worth the $10 over the current base price of $30. Is it still worth $100? Highly debatable. (Check Epic Whining and Crying Thread)

from where i live, the base price is still around $45 with the AE around $55. Yeah updating the game would be a bit of a hassle, my internet connection isn't really that great either, maybe i'll just wait for spec 2.0 version or XL version (if it ever comes out).

I don't know about you all, but i dig those suit and helmet. :banghead: to buy or not to buy.

If you're not buying the game for the online racing aspect, you may well feel you've been ripped a bit. Not that online is perfect right now, according to many posts on this site, but the career is truly abominably short and unrewarding.

well i didnt play much of GT5 online though so taht's not really a problem, i love doing hotlaps while tuning cars and collecting the cars. Thinking about it, i should have bought it on the first day so that i can enjoy all the money glitch to collect all the cars i want

Well just so you know, there are no GTAuto coupons for restoring cars or rebuilding the engine/chassis. Test drives are much more easily accomplished now, though.

I still have my GTAuto coupons in GT5  rarely used it since i forgot it exists. Ehh idk maybe i'll pass on this game or maybe i'll buy it when the prices drop down.
