Suppose I'll join. Need a place to work out tunes for a little side project I'm working on without getting a shunt for driving an Alpine or Honda 1300 S.
Go for it! I'm not sure me and you are online at the same time very often, though.

Couple of pics from yesterday...

I had a fun time tonight  But...I guess i "have to" get me some competitive setups. Just to be able to have shot at those fastest laptimes as "most tiresmoke" isn't comparable ;)
Well it's not really a competition. Some random entered the lobby with an Enzo at 600PP. He set a lap and then mentioned something like 'now that I have the best lap I will use a 2CV' or something like that. Whenever anyone in a lobby mentions their lap time, a tiny little man inside my head shouts "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED." So I detuned my Enzo to 600PP and beat his lap by 2 seconds. :D

I don't normally do that. Much. Not all of the time. Just most. :P

No, he actually used a 2CV. I know that for a fact, because he past me as I spun out while having some fun with my Supra.

Well, I tend to start "for the fun of it", but when there is a fastest laptime, I try to beat it...or at least get as close as possible (it depends on what car I'm using).
Yesterday was the longest time I've ever spent without drifting online, not including Seasonals which is kind of online.
The only "raceable" cars I have are from seasonals. The majority of my 3-400 cars are made to go sideways :)

I think that was either Derp or NFB in the 2CV. I have 650 cars and ONE is tuned for drifting. If you ever need help setting up for the track, just ask me, I might be able to help.

Ok. Didn't pay much attention to who actually used. I just saw a 2CV.
Thanks. Usually I try some stock cars. Then, if needed, I look here for a basic setup in the seasonal threads, tweak it to fit me and to get the gold, credits and paintchip and never use it again. Unless it's needed in another seasonal. But I might start racing more and more.
So basically, we're each others opposites

:odd:That confuses me - why join my club if you're looking into doing more racing? That's kind of the opposite of what the club's for.

The keyword is might. I thought I'd start with some uncompetitive hotlapping for the fun of it and at the same time adding up some hours with the wheel. I've been trying to drift with it, but it's waaay harder than I expected. Drifting with a DS3 is easy though(at least for me) So some hotlapping to get used to catching slides should be a good start :) And hotlapping alone offline seems kind of boring :)

I'm hoping to drop by sometime this weekend. Do you guys change tracks from time to time or is it a fixed track?

Generally if anyone suggest a change we will change. Normally we start with a smaller GP Circuit like Brands Hatch or Nuburgring GP.

As long as you agree with the rules and can follow them, feel free to send me a friend request on PS3 and I'll get you added.

yes i agree with the rules :) can not wait to start playing gt6 again :) i will send you a invite in a couple of days :)

I think I might be interested in joining this! I think I also have a rule that complies with overtaking other cars:

To signal that you are about to make an overtake on a slower car, flash your lights at the slower car. The slower car will then move aside to let the faster car through.

Good to hear! Send me a friend request via PSN and I'll get you added.

Standard cars can't flash their lights. Plus, people on exterior or bonnet view won't be able to see unless they look behind.

This looks like just what I'm looking for. I am very fond of older cars, and enjoy having a good clean drive with others. I'll send you an invite when I get home from work tonight.

Mind if I join? I'm sick of all the public free run lobbies and the clowns in them. I might not be able to join very often though, with the time difference. Can anyone open club lobbies, or is it just you?

You can if you want, though due to the lack of regular members, I doubt anyone else will be online at the same time as you. Still looking for more members, you see. Feel free though.
