So I just wanted to rant about a few topics here and clear my thoughts. First off the seasonal events that consist of you using $200,000 cars to earn maybe $100,000 is kind of annoying. Seriously need to fix that issue, and before I get flak on that statement I know some of you are going to say "Well they want you to buy credits from the PS store" well... its still kind of a buzz kill... Secondly I'm finding competition or lack there of to be a problem as well, Either they're no good, or they argue and make to many excuses in a drift comp. If people would just take it easy, see this as a game which it is, have fun with the comps, not get so butt hurt, I would probably see more action in GT6. Everyone I run into has a complaint about he/she wont stop arguing with so & so... just drift people... its a game. Not a Manhood comp or who's got more swag or style or better colors... I could go on for ever but my final statement is that clearly I'm losing my mood to play simply because I'm tired of the immaturity and the B.S. I wish it would just be a good experience every time I log on to drift... but even when its not a comp there's always that one person... who kills it for everyone.

I'm thankful for micro-transactions because they save me time. Had it not been for having to have an A license to play online, I wouldn't know what the first race was to save my life.

The only lobbies I don't mute are Japanese and UK. I like to know if the J guys are talking about me, and the UK guys give me top gear vibes when talking about cars and their setups.

I'll say this about the complaining. It's sad when someone enters a lobby and one run later starts typing small paragraphs. The sad part is, I knew who this person was before I even knew their PSN. Finally got to see first hand what some members here talk about.

Is it still fun? Yes, if you ask me.

I don't see what seasonals have to do with drifting.

My GT experience is purely offline (except updates) at the moment, and I have tons of fun just building drift cars and lapping endlessly trying to tandem with my ghost.

I use the Redbull standard champ for money.

Obviously I drive fast as well as drifting, so yes, gt6 is still fun.

As soon as you figure out how to tune. Its so worth it. Its quite a better feeling to drift then GT5. GT5 on Wheel users basically had no feedback of the car. GT6 lot more feedback.

It's still fun... But I only play a few times a week for a GTP series... :(

Too many broken promises to even get excited anymore...

GT6 is fun for me, because I can ignore certain aspects of the game and just have fun. I think some people just need to lower their expectations. You'll be less disappointed if you do.

I think that's why GTA V bothers me so much. I had tremendously high expectations for it, but they didn't live up to all their promises and now I am disappointed. With GT6, I knew from GTP News reports that there weren't going to be a whole lot of amazing new things. So, that kept my expectations low and now I'm just happy to play the game for what it is. It's fun to drift cars that are not ideal for drifting. You learn something new about the car and how far you can push it, as well as see what your limits are.

Everyone likes drifting, I just don't get it, I'm not sure what's fun about polluting the fans lungs.

But gymkhana though... :D

tuning I have down, its the money to make my drift machines and lack of good tandems and competitors im annoyed with.. but I drift a select group of cars anyways... I guess ill be ok w,o $$$

Nope, which is sad because I've only had the game for 3months,I must of played GT5 for a solid year and a half before it started to lose it's attraction,GT6 just feels to similar to GT5 almost as if this game could've just been another massive update and DLC.
It feels like GT5 but worse. GT5 was fun 24/7 but for some reason on GT6 I have good days and bad days which turn me off of drifting. And we complain not because we like to complain, it's because we're voicing our frustrations with the game to see if anyone else agrees. Just a matter of sharing a common opinions. And we shouldnt be satisfied with a game that has promised us so much and has yet to fix its glitches. GT6 is more broken than GT5 was when it came out which my frustration. Too much on this game needs to be fixed and I'm not going to just accept it as it is because that' exactly what happened with games like Call of Duty. People accepted the glitches and exploited it rather than try to fix it so the people who play it are just going to continue quick scoping and abusing the aim assist glitch on snipers.

Anyway, in short GT6 is broken and we shouldn't just keep quiet and accept it.

It is indeed fun, and pretty challenging. Rewarding when you get it right. I hope we get the almighty promised updates soon, tho :/

Of course it's still fun. Even when having a terrible driving night, because the friends I have made through the GT series have kept me on. I like to have dramaless characters around; because there will be no issues and just pure fun/driving.

Money is really easy to make it's just up to you to make it. Like the Wind takes 3 minutes and you win $100,000. Or what I have been doing is the X1 Championship which takes about 20 minutes and you can win $2,000,000+ if you win every race and series.

This. I subscribe to everyword.
Has it's day, but mostly, it's frustrating.

you can only get money for it once.

No you are thinking of the Vettel challenges. I mean the Championship series. I've done it 4 times already and got money for every race, and the the 1 million for the series each time. Unless my game's bugged?
