That isnt what he is saying at all. He is telling those who are trying to hype an update that they shouldn't because one hasnt been announced. No hints are being dropped. What has been announced is maintenance and until anything else is announced, that is all anyone should be expecting.

I'm still waiting for the maintenance period that fixes my online connection issues in GT6. It is extremely aggravating when every other game works flawlessly online and the one game I would enjoy playing the most online won't work right 99% of the time for me.

I've learned to not get my hopes up, because if something happens, then I'm pleasantly surprised. If nothing happens, then no disappointment. I'll bet my hat that at the most we get the VGT's.

I don't know if my memory is playing up but have they ever actually announced an update? I've read about plenty of online maintenance periods but never an impending update itself.

It's all guesswork whether one turns up but the VGT reveals recently make me think one's on the way. No biggie if it doesn't. Still a couple of cars left for me to drive.

I wonder how many pages this thread will manage in the 2 short days to the maintenance. I imagine it'll probably double with disappointed comments afterwards.

But we did get announced content unlike the triple maintenances of July. I wanna say it's an update but yet again I wanna get surprised so I ain't getting my hopes up.

It got way out of hand during the three maintenance periods a few months ago, with people getting on the hype train without anything even being announced prior.

Ain't happening son. You can't reason with people that are so desperate for something to happen with GT that they have massive delusions of grandeur in their sleep.

What happens will happen. If it's just maintenance, fair enough. If the Bugatti and Hyundai VGTs come, fair enough.
