GT6 Master Car List [NOT A WISHLIST]

Was McLaren taken out of the OP?

:(

Please read the OP more carefully. The GT6 Master Car list is a list of all of the new cars that will be coming to GT6. Cars that were previously in GT5 are not on the list.

While the McLaren MP4-12C was seen in the GT6 Demo, it was in GT5, thus it is off the list.

Not sure if somebody mentioned this yet, but I'm going to go out on a limb here:

Some super V8s confirmed. Why??? Bathurst and no Super V8s = fail.

Nissan LMP2 Race Car confirmed.

Why??? Because it's a Nissan and it's a GT Academy grad, Lucas Ordonez, car for endurance racing a couple of years ago.

Some more F1's confirmed (Red Bull, McLaren at least). Why??? Ferrari is currently the ONLY legit F1 cars in the game.

Modern RUFs confirmed. Why??? THE most sought after manufacturer for ALL of GT's lifespan is Porsche. Since PD can't have it, pick up the next best thing: RUF. This is good and all, but PD needs, business-wise, some late body style RUFs along side Mr. Yellow Bird. Look at Drive Club.

At GTP we consider a car confirmed when we have either seen it or have conclussive proof, pictures of the car being modelled or interviews with people that can be trusted. Your logic, appropiate in some cases but far-fetched in others, can only deem them as "probable", but in no way confirmed.

About the V8 supercars: Having Bathurst wouldn't confirm them because PD has been known to give us tracks without giving us cars specific or traditional to the track itself. For instance, we have the Nordschleife but we have only one VLN-spec car. We have many tracks of F1 fame yet we have two F1 cars.

About the Nisssan LMP2: This has been considered a long time ago here at GTP. As logical as it sounds, we don't have it so far and have no reason to believe it'll come in GT6. Would be great though.

About F1 cars: Ferrari is the only one allowed to do whatever they want with their cars licensing by the FIA and FOM. The other manufacturers can only license them as part of F1-themed games, as far as I know. So, not likely.

Modern RUFs: Again, likely but I wouldn't count on it. I'm sure they'll keep the Standard RUFs but it's anyones guess at the moment wether they included modern ones or not. They could've done so for GT5 and yet they didn't.

Honestly, the best you can do with the car list of an upcoming GT is lowering your standards and expecting nothing. Then, as information is revealed, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Wild guess:
A late model Ford Mustang. 2013 Boss302 and/or 2013 Shelby GT500. I say the latter because of it's value. The last Shelby with Mr. Shelby's hand involved in it's development. It LITERALLY is a modern marvel and classic all in one 200mph solid rear package.

... and the Polestar S60. Just kidding, but I would love to see it. Best sleeper car EVEEEEEEERRRRRRRRR.

You my friend have been torn apart.

I understand this is a confirmed car thread, but wow. I was pretty much joking while adding just few things to think/talk about. Maybe I should have started my own thread.

I'd like to apologize on behalf of the fellow members that continued to respond to your post after I did.

I don't know why everyone feels the need to re-iterate a point more than once and in increasing detail. I feel it's counter productive.

You did make some valid food for thought, but nothing about what you said is confirmed, and this is the confirmed car list. Still, we need more than one dot to connect in order to string together logical theory.

Example: Bathurst. Yes V8 Supercars are tied to the track, but more recently, the 24 hour event has reached about the same level in terms of international recognition (Australians may hold the V8 Supercars event higher and I don't blame them). So GT3 cars (which have been confirmed in the game) make just as much sense as the V8 Supercars.

If a BMW m3 01 or 02 could make it in the game that would be awsone

Read the thread title again, slowly. There will be an '04 M3 from GT4 and 5 which is the same generation as the years you mention.

Good find.

It was a follow on comment from "These guys are racing for us tomorrow - so awesome", referring to the GT Academy drivers and their progress from the game to racing for real.

LOL!
I couldnt believe it!
I see in my crystalball that a BMW M3 Gran Turismo is going to hit the car list in GT6

It has power and looks!
In other words BMW M3 GT

Why? Would rather have a premium GTR :dunce:

Ok if pd will put the sema show cars what abaut the tokyo auto salon?

It's a safe assumption that they'll be featured as they have been featured since GT4. Which is a good thing, because those are some GT-Rs I won't consider shameless duplicates. That GReddy/BenSopra R35 is just so AWESOME!
