I don't wanna go off-topic:

but for the first time I saw the Alpine A110, this ride IS JUST GORGEOUS!!!!

Glad that it will be on GT6, but is this the 1968 or the 1973 version?

I think that is an early 70's model, maybe the 1973 you're thinking it is, nice find!

You can post it here

It's possible that I'm wrong because there are almost no differences between the models

Even if he didn't it's still not a confirmed car so shouldn't be on the list, neither should a lot of the cars. It's still quite a misleading list.

To be fair the cars are categorised correctly so unless you don't read the OP properly it's hard to be mislead.

That's the point though, a lot of people don't bother with what they see as "fluff" in a thread like this. They go to the meat, the list, and expect every car listed to be in there.

Besides even then some of the rumoured cars are huge stretches, like the 360 Modena which is based purely on one of these:

Being seen during the Silverstone vent.

Then why is something like the JP Flag X2010 rumoured to be in? Just because it was a hidden/unused car in GT5?

The 360 should not be on the list as it clearly has no link to the GT event, I have explained this a couple of times already. I think the other cars do have a place in red though.

True.

49 cars 151 to go ! I fail to see how the list is misleading if it states in the op its not final,so its completely pointless to talk about if any of the cars doesn't deserve to be on the list because im sure OP already took that into consideration. Also if people don't read the OP why should other people have to miss out on news and rumors because of that ? I didn't hear about a majority of the cars listed.

34 cars, 166 to go. the cars in red haven't been confirmed, and to be honest about half of them have very tenuous links to the game.

All of the cars that were actually at the sony event and had GT6 numberplates should be on the list (at least in red), although I think some of them having different liveries to the ones seen in GT6 and previous games (R8 LM car, SLS AMG GT3 etc) were probably there just as they were the easiest version of that car to source. It would be unlikely that sony/pd would choose to have a certain car at the event with said numberplates without including it in some form or another.

However such evidence does not exist for the 360 or JP Flag X2011 so I feel they should both be removed for the time being.

Agreed. The Modena, 2013 R8 and X2010 are a bit far fetched I hear your valid arguments guys and will remove them for now.
I'm on my phone right now so I'll do it in the next hour or so ;)

I have a question.I know the sema cars are confirmed but what abaut the auto salon in tokyo they have the same reason to by like the sema?

Every car at the GT Silverstone event, even those with GT logos on them, should be at least separated from the main list. There is no connection to them and the game other than them just being present at the event. If there's going to be any list with them I think it would be more fair to take them all out of the current list and make a separate list at the bottom pointing out that the following cars were present at the Anniversary event.

But really, until we see any of those cars in screenshots or through any other link to the game, they shouldn't be on any list imo.

Because it's really not a stretch to say PD/Silverstone just got a bunch of exotics to have on show for a racing game, taking whatever they had in close proximity. Example, the '87 XJR8 race car was probably there because it's close enough to the '88 XJR9, but that in no way suggests it will be in the game. If an XJR9 was available it probably would've been there but they got the next closest thing.

Try not to look into it too deeply, I imagine that E63 you mention was the one they happened to be the easiest to source for the event (maybe the more common versions were busy elsewhere at dealers etc), and it merely represents the presence of a 2013 Mercedes E63 in the game, rather than the one in the game being the exact model at the event.

That's a new model so they more than likely had a press model handy.

Next time please try and use the Shift key as well as some punctuation, I had a pretty tough time reading that sentence.

Head honcho Jordan was asked by someone to remove the news article concerning them when these pictures surfaced. Shh.

EDIT:

Heck, it even says at the top of the page.
