GT6 Master Car List [NOT A WISHLIST]

No, I meant the literal car list that PD released like two weeks before GT5. Of course the F1 cars were in the game at launch, but were they both on that car list when they first published it, that's my question. Because I'm not sure if I remember the F10 not being on the list or if that's just a "memory."
Oh, I think they were in that list actually. It's really odd on how things changed so much over the last few months.

I'm really eager to drive this Impreza.

I would like to point something out.

It seems that the "TC" cars from the first DLC of GT5 are now officially called Touring Cars. Yes, we all know what TC stands for, however, this changes the name of the car entirely.

Also, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X TC as had its name changed from TC to Rally Car.

There is a lot of detailed work involve in this thread, hence why I am bringing this up.
And that grouping of classifications in Career Mode just simplified Super GT, Touring Cars, Le Mans, Rally, NASCAR. Maybe we'll see more racing in each series.

Only thing I didnt like, was seeing that Mine's GT-R against race cars. I want to race against race cara, not tuners.

If the list is incomplete and somehow 76 more cars show up in the final list; what do you guys think the missing cars could be?

I only can think of a few:
- Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG
- Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG
- Premium Lancia Delta Rally Car
- Premium Alfa Romeo 155 DTM '93
- Ferrari P4/5 Competizione
- Fischer Racing Ford GT GT3 Race Car
- AMR Young Drivers DBR9 GT1
- AMR Young Drivers V12 Vantage GT3
- Acura NSX Concept '13

I think the 76 missing is DLC... but not including the concept pack.

Maybe 6 free cars, the rest paid, then a 20 car concept pack for free.

That's quiet possible although I think that the 76 cars will be free of charge content as they should of been on the list but arnt ready yet for the game and I also think the.concepts will be free.

I think (and hopefully confirm) that DLC will be free

Gran Turismo 6 will contain approximately 1200 cars at time of release, and more and more cars are planned to be added thereafter. Unlike the previous title, the added cars will appear directly in the dealerships after an update, and will be available to purchase in game. You will be able to enjoy driving the newest cars right after they are released in the market.

Where it says "Unlike the previous title..." I think they mean that instead of having to get a digital code for the car to use it in game via PS Store, even though some cars were free, GT6 will make available the cars right away after an update that contains one, free of charge :D

Why 76?

Ok, they have photographed it, but this doesn't imply that they are in GT6.
The original 1000 cars from GT5 plus Kaz said there would be 200 new cars coming to GT6 but the list only has 123 new cars therefore there are 76 other cars to be confirmed.

and I didn't say it would be, I was just making a speculation. I also only called it a Ferrari because I forgot who actually made it.

Ok, now I understand. I'm afraid that Kaz has said the "new 200 cars" sentence with a little 'of lightness.

Sorry RandomCarGuy17, I read your post superficially.

Thinking about this and yes I know I could be wrong here but those 76 cars could be the prize list? just a thought.
I like that theory but I'm not sure that's a reason to leave them out of the list but well just have to wait until dec 6th to find out.

Element of suprise maybe, though like you say I'm not sure what would be gained from that.

There's a number of flaws in your theory. First of all, there's not 1000 cars in GT5, but more. Depends on how you count them, but the number is closer to 1.100. Based on that, the quote about 1.200 cars in GT6 and 200 new is already being put into perspective. Since all of these numbers obviously are just ballpark figures, the number 76 is just completely arbitrary and not based on facts. It could be 5, 50 or 100 cars - we currently have certainly no way of knowing how many unannounced cars are in GT6.

The only other thing I can think of is that there are 123 new cars to GT6 the remaining 76 are cars that have been converted to premuim from standard therefore arnt entirely new. So that's why the list say 1197.

The other cars we know of that arnt on the list might not be ready for launch or might be DLC.

I think the developers should have created all new "premium" cars instead of making cars that were "standard" in GT5 "premium" cars in GT6. i mean some of the standard cars deff needed to be premium in the first place, but to consider them purely all new cars is an understatement. still cant wait tho

Agreed but I prefer more cars then less.

It could be that, or it could be that they have the DLC purchase integrated into the game so that you can make the purchase within GT6 instead of having to go to the PSN store outside of the game.

Hopefully this happens. Then if they release a car like the X2011, it'll mean that less idiots can get their hands on one immediately.

True but you forgot the cars that won tokyo show.

On the new news article it says there are 1297 new cars?! but I cant find the full list

Actually, it's 1197 and it looks like the official GT6 car list has now been released with 123 new cars although the definition of 'new' seems a bit strange when you consider the likes of the Cizeta, Bentley Speed 8 etc are not 'new' as such but simply upgraded to premium.

Can anyone confirm? Is this what we'll be getting on release day?

Not even Jordan can confirm, and he's played the full game. So we'll just have to wait and see.

How nice does the 2014 Corvette Stingray look?! I know it wont be the best car to drive, but it does look amazing!
