Thank you for embracing and welcoming me to the club.
Looking forward to joining more challenges.

@Rinsky The Ring is my nemesis as well.
I've actually had no good enough finish so far that I would consider decent. :irked:

There are several 'Ring events to be scheduled soon for the Holidays. believe me you'll be getting plenty of practise - and once the 'Ring becomes your home track no other track will daunt you.

I'm getting better at the Ring only because Im running it 10 times a day trying to learn it all.
But as soon as I think Im getting better at it and decide to jump into a different car it becomes a completely different animal again. No two cars drive exactly the same on the Ring. So its very very challenging indeed.

I improved my time by almost 8 seconds over my first posted attempt and still never seen the Viper. The run was clean never ran off the track and fast or me. That's all my skill levels got guys.

16 days ago this competition has been going for 3 years.

Please everyone raise a glass and post this emoji  in the appreciation of photonrider and what he's done.

Cheers mate

Thank you, buddy, much appreciated - I'll raise a glass myself to that (and since I'm of the legal age to imbibe I'll have a glass of the real Pils to toast you):

This would not have been possible without the sort of person that makes one a member of GTPlanet; the sort that has been part and parcel of this thread throughout the years. We are a special sort of people; petrol heads with racing in our blood and an approach to the game, and the competitions within, that surely define what 'gentleman' racers are.
It is all of you that are responsible for its continued and quite astounding success at any gaming site - over a hundred events run!
Kudos to all of you! I'm in the very best of GT company - and I'm humbled to be among you superfine drivers.

As we can see, the C-in-C has now moved our project, on the war against the GT6 AI, to the General GT6 Forum.
This is in keeping with the next phase in our endeavour whereby we will be challenging the AI in various ways in the Offline gaming potion of the game (while maintaining some focus on the Online Seasonals as long as they last).
We will be using challenges from all levels in the Offline potion - and using the missions in-game - to provide an 'Online' (GTPlanet-wise) base to challenge each other even after PD takes down their Online support for GT6.
In this way, even after PD takes down Online interaction we will continue to meet and battle each other 'Online' (via GTPlanet) as long as there are players playing this game requiring a spot to meet and interact.
We will, however, continue to dive into @nowcontrol's threads in the Seasonal Events Forum for input and data that will help us in our events while keeping company with other venerable GT6 threads (like the 'Beater/Sleeper' thread, and the 'Duel of the Week' thread, for instance) in the General GT6 Forum.
______________________________________

There will be two new events scheduled prior to the holidays that celebrate the Christmas week - both of these will be from the International Level in the game.

nowayback Prize Car Pack
This is going to be a riot at the 'Ring using a race from the International Level using GT-Rs and in honour of nowayback, holder of the most GTHunter titles ever - a long unbeaten record.
Prize winner will receive a pack of HotWheels GT-Rs! (This might actually make you rich. One day.)

Vic Reign Master Licence.
Ready for a storm? You'll be driving through a hurricane to get to the checkers in this one - again a race at the 'Ring from the International Level - so get those International Licences ready - or else you won't be able to enter.
A tangible prize to go with this race, too - a year's free subscription to Premium Membership at GTPlanet - or if you already have that then the option to gift it to anyone of your choice.
This race will be held in honour of Vic Reign93 who has been with us from the beginning and who swept the boards clean many a time till we declared the constitutional amendment called 'Vic Reign Rights' to keep him out of the races.

These events and more coming in during the weekend.
Meanwhile . . . we still have a bunch of events to work on; keep sending those entries in - winning doesn't matter so much as seeing you up there on the leader boards beside aliens, and knowing that you're getting your hands sweaty while clutching the right objects.

Cheers,
H.

 to photonrider! Hello fellow GTers. I'm new to the hub, but when I took the time to read more about it i thought "this can be great fun" so here are my first posted times.

Slay Driver, Seventh Heaven Maven and the Beetle thing. I did run the Civic at the Ring and finshed 8th but didn't get the phone fast enough for a picture. I doubt I'll ever make it to P2 like Cory, but I do believe I can get several positions higher that 8th. I'm still tuning on both the Beetle and the Civic. Had to give my hands a break. I've run the Ring race close to 30 times over the past week. I've had 9 wins and another 20 podiums of P2 or P3. I posted only my best and most clean races. I've run the Zonda R and won, The Zonda LM Race Car, P2, Citroen GT Race Cr P2. Many others multiple times working on the tunes as I went. I'm glad to be here. I hope I can keep the standard up.👍

Welcome to the GT6 AI HUB, @Racin510s ! Good to see your name up on the leader boards - and looking forward to see you clinch some titles. Your knowledge of cars, and tunes that work, is going to be a great help to many of the players in here.

I've given it a little thought, and I think the opera performance S2000 is a brilliant handling car, and I think it would suit the ring well, so my suggestion for the expert event is: Opera Performance S2000 - fastest finish, player dont have to win. (win is possible, but sincew we've done alot of "highest position" challenges lately I'd thought its a nice twist. Top times will likely be P1 anyway)

Good to see you here Racin510, I've enjoyed your work on the other threads.

Your SLAY DRIVER entry needs to show the last place cars time, it's not about how fast you are, it's about how much you beat last place.

Thank you @bjl23 I misread the objective on the Slay Driver. I'll do it again and let all of them at least to 12th place finish. I have a little bit better tune on the Midget so I'll either move down or up. I have had a blast. It is a welcome break from Nurburgring. Though I do have a run there tomorrow with much thanks to @coryclifford and possibly a move up the ladder there and the Beetle run.

I do have a question about @ERAZER post and the S2000. Is this a new race, a replacement for the Civic or what?.:dunce: I went and bought one so I could test it. Will it be run as is or will there be tuning? Forgive me if I'm getting ahead of what's going on.

Hey mate the S2000 race will be an additional race once photonrider opens the event. You can tune the cars on all events as long as it is within the rules of PD.

I did this 1st thing this morning while my right hand was good and rested.
This would not have been possible without @coryclifford help. He gave me his chassis, downforce and LSD settings and I was able to finish 4th 2 times. I did try to get one more but just don't have the top speed. I may get lucky and come upon a different field. The 2 races I ran took me forever to get past 10th place, but once I cleared those 2 It was a wonderful flight.:DI kept my best replay if it needs to be verified.

Nice easy drive, need to find a bit of speed to catch @bjl23

Always love driving the oldies

Good job @RMan72 👍, you have raised the bar on me for Seventh Heaven and the Beetle Thing. I got up early to run the Ring, but not feeling real well today. I have tweaked my Beetle but I'm going to have to find another car for the 7th Heaven event. I'm really glad I came here. Nothing like good friendly competition. I don't know if I'll get anymore in today but I will try. I wish you and the rest of the AI Hub a very happy holiday.

Thanks @Racin510s 👍
There are quite a few good cars to choose from for SEVENTH HEAVEN MAVEN. Slight improvement with the Roadster

Tweaked the Beetle, but could not get to my phone fast enough to get the exact total time. I ran a 4:34 and change, the picture I have uploaded shows total time as 4:35 but that was after I crossed the finish line. it is about 5 seconds faster than my previous time. Just not having a good day except for my Ring run this morning.

Beetle Thing 4:34/35 which ever is accepted.
Seventh Heaven Total Time 8:12.170 MOV 49.928

This is great fun:lol:

@Racin510s you need to use a car manufactured in 2007 for the Seventh Heaven event. Nice time with the Garaiya :D though

See what I mean. Not a good day. I was at the VA for about 5 hours yesterday. Then stayed up too late, didn't sleep well so my poor brain just isn't working like it should. It was the competitor in me that just could not sit back and not try to do better. I knew my Garaiya was very fast at 500PP and forgot completely about the year model. Looks like I'm going back to my Ferrari stable, don't know if I have another '07 car except the MX5 the same one you ran.

Edit: Since I have goofed a few times today before I do it again please explain this event to me. The max PP is 560. @photonrider ran a '54 300 SL and I have cars that within that PP range will run low 7's at the Ring. So what am I missing? I have 5 of the 300 SL's from 400 to 500 PP. Why with so many hot German rides choose that car. I started the race with my McLaren SLS @ 550 PP and stopped about a minute and a half in and I was already up to 8th place. Please help.

When people start an event the starting time is normally a slowish time and they will post quicker times as it goes on, photonrider may have picked that car to start off slow or he doesn't have a faster car?
You can race any car that is eligible to the event rules even if it is 1-2 minutes quicker

Thank you @bjl23

It will be posted over the weekend once I work out the details with ERAZER. 👍

photonrider: 8:06.366 - MB 300 SL Coupe '54

:D

Maybe he's crazy. Or he loves the 300 SL and couldn't help it.
Or he's just a big tease and has an ace up his sleeve.

I'm quite awed to see how much action is taking place in here; I'm going to have my work cut out this weekend updating the OP with all the new times being posted. Also thrilled to see how you guys are beating your own times and jumping up those leader boards. Great work!

@photonrider, thank you for keeping this going:tup:. Once I get my head to cooperate I'll enjoy this a whole lot more. I was/am a member of the Geezer Club, you have to be 60 to be a member. i did some online races with them and it was fun for bit. But this AI Hub has so many different things to do that I could spend the next week here and not get to all events with my best. I am sotra like a kid in a candy store. My greatest achievement was 4th at the Ring in the Civic. @coryclifford giving me the tune he did was testament of the quality of the people who participate in these events. I hope I get a good night's sleep so I can really put some serious effort in these events. I also have a few car I need to run at the Expert Race as well. I found out there is no 2J in GT Sport which is a game breaker for me. So why would I want to invest in GT Sport, a PS4 and wheel when I can have this much fun here.:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:
