It's just going to be added at a later time. Not necessarily going to be for sale
Yea I hope so but still, I don't and didn't plan on posting or even trying out other peoples creations, so I never even thought about that.It may not be free but other people still may be able to race on it.Like the current dlc tracks. You can't race on them online or in arcade or practice mode, but only in certain seasonals. So in a way its like paying for it to use it when ever you want instead of when and where PD allows you to.Which is nice imo but could be better, like you get races with the dlc tracks and the dlc cars get implemented into all races they are allowed in.

They're going to start burning the disks? :sly:
The first gold disc prints will be done within now 24 hours thats my guess :) Time to hype the reviews!

Edit: Oh... O_O ... Oh... PD will upload more screenshots to their offical with their gold build? O_O

Honestly, I'm liking the DLC plan. Not only will there be cars, tracks, tuning parts and other stuff added via DLC, this is actually great. So. What would be the point of course maker locations? Because variety.

Yes, variety is fine. But if I paid for a course maker DLC location, spent hours building and testing a course at that location, and then go online to race on it with my friends only to find out they can't drive on it because they didn't purchase the DLC location........I would be wondering why the hell I spent money on it. DLC is all fine and good, I just think a course maker location (that would likely be useless in most cases) is a bad thing to have as paid DLC.

Agreed. That kinda thing would be pointless as "paid" DLC, because many people would think it was hardly worth the money. Same with paint DLC.

But if they had a good selection of "paid" DLC photomode locations, I think they would make more practical sense and might be more popular.

I hope there's more than just course maker locations as DLC. I honestly want to see PD just model some of the courses from the early GT games & more real world courses. I was really hoping for Seattle & SSR11.

Yes, there are a lot of photo mode junkies out there that would eat those up, and their friends wouldn't have to pay for the location to be able to see the photos. (Well, hopefully not). 👍

Yeah, that would be royally dumb if that happened.

Regarding that secret location in Australia. The last V8 Supercar race of the season is the Sydney 500 Dec 6-8. However, I'd prefer Phillip Island.

"GT6 is launching with an unheard of collection of cars, is there one that got away?

It’s a hard question, but of course we always want to include Porsche"

Unless PD stopped and realized or Sony more so, that you are sharing it with your friends for that time being. After they race on the purpose build track you've made they can't do so on their own without you, then what is the problem. Profit isn't lost, so Sony should really think about this since you did raise a good point. However, we'll see I could see this being an issue if you wanted to gift the track to your friends without them paying or so on but to just share a race or two with buddies that may not have the funds is a different story.

Yeah, that one was posted and discussed a few times; interesting about Porsche. It was a bit weird that they waited 2-months to publish it, considering they specified that they had spoken to him —mid-September— at the Jalopnik Film Festival.

"Gran Turismo series creator confirmed that Gran Turismo 7 will arrive for Playstation 4 in 2014."
Ummm...Kaz most certainly did not do that.

Also, I hope that rumor about Ni No Kuni 2 is true.

Yeah, that's just marketing spin. Because he said something close to that, they made it seem like it was actually "confirmed". But they also said to take what was said with a pinch of salt.

German preview: http://www.autobild.de/artikel/gran-turismo-gt-6-fuer-playsation-angespielt-4396474.html

The IMO new and interesting bits:

Goodwood will be an invitational event in the career mode based on progression/success.

The Alfa MiTo is the first car starting the career.

Compact cars like the MiTo are the first cars starting the career. Duh - sorry!

Driven cars get (and stay) dirty until cleaned for 50 Cr.

Everyone will receive 18 special cars throughout 2014 (Vision GT).

The 24 hours of Le Mans will feature the correct star positions as of 2013.

We will be able to tell how correct this article was in a short while.

So, Famitsu says Honda Fit is starting car, Autobild says Alfa MiTo is starting car.

I think we can safely assume that the starting car isn't locked to one car.

Thanks for that. Here's the Google translation:

Gran Turismo 6 will be released on 6 December 2013. AUTO BILD could even turn a few laps at an exclusive pre - appointment. Even the menu through which one has to go through select up behind the wheel , has become clearer when compared to its predecessor. It can be operated with ease. The 1200 cars that Sony delivers with GT6 , are a huge number . Also exotics such as the Dutch Spyker C8 Laviolette can be whipped on the circular routes . The race tracks look great. The degree of realism that converts the GT6 , but you can experience best when you put the weather into play. For the first time in the Gran Turismo series , you can set the start of the race in front of the weather , including desired changes .Started small : the career mode you start with a small car, we are also down. And then BMW M3 GT.The Honda Jazz RS on a dry course and play a round is one thing , herzuhetzen BMW M3 in a wet race behind a pack of GT race car is another. The spray makes opponents and route invisible and without rain tire wobbles the pixel race car at every unguarded gas shock with the rump. With rain tires can tackle the M3 actually harder under the same conditions. Also the sound in GT6 is tempting , the ten-cylinder engine in the Viper growls reluctantly , before passing by her, the GT-R unruly snarls , and then panting after the virtual adjustable rear spoiler. The damage model is , however, usual sober, despite body check in the curve inside it works in principle, wrinkle-free on. It must be said that this type of cosmetics is especially important to car manufacturers . But at least you can einsauen to his sports car , then you drive it with either a dirt crust through the career mode or equips it for 50 credits a virtual Wäsche.Sony promises much for GT6 : more than 1200 licensed cars , real race tracks including Goodwood Hillclimb and for preordered five other exclusive racer. In GT6 cars of all types can be moved , starting with the go-kart about small cars like the Alfa Romeo MiTo ( with which the career mode starts ) , hot street cars like the Ford Focus ST and supercar à la Pagani Huayra to FIA GT racers such as the BMW Z4 GT3 . But also the one who prefer to drive a classic hot tires will be helped - with Abarth 1500 Biposto Bertone, BMW 507 , Ford GT40 - to name just a few. In the official GT6 teaser emerges even a lunar rover .

I thought we were told the Honda Fit was the first car chosen for you?
Some translation issues? Different starting cars for/from different regions?

Would love some Phillip Island! Also with some new V8 Supercars!

Well he edited his post like this, so it seems like the reviewers only picked that car, they may not have been forced to use it.

The Alfa MiTo is the first car starting the career.
