Cool, now others who might read it like I did will have some kind of context. It is, if not intended, a valid concern when any dev talks about a next version of a game on the eve of their current games release. Some might see it as setting up the excuse platform or a distraction from reality with hype.
GT has always been about what it could be vs what it actually is in Kaz eyes... He is insatiable. If he was more of a gamer we would have 20+ car grids by GT 3... (Slight stretch I admit, but for effect)

I am now curious on what GT7 will be like. I have some ideas on what it could be, but I can save them for later. I want to actually play GT6 for a bit before worrying about the next title.

My only problem with this happening is time it'll take to get the necessary money to get a PS4 for it and without any sort of price drop on the system itself. If it were out in say 2015 and PS4 prices drop abit, then I'd start saving up. I also would at least like to enjoy a game for a year before going to the next installment.
I'am also waiting with buying the PS4.
The games coming out now are not 100% my taste.
But later in 2014, the're will be more.
GT7 in 2014? PD (if i remember correctly) wants to do something different with GT7.
Not a polished version of GT6.
Do i want GT7 prologue, NO! Make a GT6 HD or something. And make a different game of GT7.
Different in: Storyline game, pure roadracing, doesn't matter, suprise us PD

Also, I saw a glimpse of the Sauber C-9 Mercedes in a GT6 commercial in the screenshots/videos thread. It looked quite premium looking, especially the headlights. I guess PD has really been inconsistent with their car list.

What would be the point of course maker location DLC? So you can spend time building a course that only a small percentage of people can race on? (Presuming those who haven't purchased the DLC location will be banned from driving on it like in GT5). Seems like a waste of money and time.

As different regions have other release dates classically, a global release date must have been decided upon.
