'Watchmen' Scribe Tackling 'Gran Turismo' for Columbia (Exclusive)

Watchmen writer Alex Tsehas been tapped to pen Gran Turismo, Columbia Pictures’ adaptation of the Sony Computer Entertainment video game.

Michael De Luca, Kevin Spacey and Dana Brunetti,who teamed for Captain Phillips, are producing.

Details of Tse’s take on a potential plot and story are being kept locked in the glove box.

Im watching the coverage for todays race at Phillip Island and there are Gran Turismo 6 signs around the circuit. Fingers crossed this leads to something more. If not, then whatever.

Between 2008 and 2011 they held the pre Bathurst, 500km race. Last year they moved back to the traditional 500 venue: Sandown Raceway

It would make sense, considering the content and market would be far enough removed from GT6 to allow a release only a year later on a different system with a slightly parred-down feature list that focuses on introducing and testing new stuff.
