It looks like it was just a few informal questions at a motor show. I'm sure that he would like to get it out in 2014, but when he labelled it "best case scenario," that rings not as a proper estimate, but rather a working goal.

But who knows?

One thing I did get from the dialogue, is that they are not going to attempt to push the PS4 as far as they can:

"In GT6 we really had to tune the software 100 per cent to maximise the PS3's architecture, but of course the PS4's hardware is much better, so I think the overall quality of the game across the board will be boosted when you come to play it."

I hope GT6 has the Citron Survolt as a GT Vision car, or this black beast.
Maybe @iainoflo85 maybe not. I'm still looking for the news articles that I copied these photos from.

Yeah if they get it out in 2014 they will probably not maximise the PS4.. but wouldn't it be great if they kind of refreshed GT6 and instead of really pushing it more graphicly they're able to just make everything that is really on the limit on the ps3 to really work and make it feel really snappy and working perfectly. :P And maybe double the number of cars on track and all that. Probably wouldn't be a problem on PS4 if they don't add too much new stuff. :)

If so then where is a list of all the companies involved @dr_slump? The Gran Turismo site only gives the cars that a few companies already on the site but DOES not give a definitive list of all the companies evolved or will be evolved.
Addition:
Like I said before @dr_slump its a prelist of the current companies evolved and the companies that may get evolved. Plus PSA Peugeot Citroen owns Citroen so you truly have now clue what the plans are or could be.

That is not the full list i remmeber in a trailer they show lexus. And this Over 20 of the world leading companies in the automotive industry have designed special cars for Gran Turismo, celebrating its 15th anniversary. Over the course of approximately 1 year, cars from each company will be provided one by one in the game. This is a festival of cars only possible to experience within Gran Turismo.

I don't see anywhere that points out it will happen, only a ideal scenario (which isn't always in reach).

Citroen isn't even in the list of the companies participating in the Vision Gran Turismo project so that is never going to happen.

People are overracting quite abit with all the recent Auto show concepts and thinking they are Vision GT just because Mercedes did it.

I remember many trailers showing things we haven't got so far or are apparently not going to get in near future.

As far as we know Citroen is not part of the Vision GT project. I can only post things that are the case now, making assumptions doesn't make more sense.

I wouldn't mind a slightly better looking GT7 on PS4 (not over the top) with a rather large grid of cars (online and offine).

Although, I would want it to feel next gen (or is that current now ;)), otherwise it would just be Gran Turismo 6 1/2.

On this portion specifically:
"In GT6 we really had to tune the software 100 per cent to maximise the PS3's architecture..."

When I think about it (as business speak goes), that is probably as close to a criticism of the PS3's power being less than desirable for PD's graphic wants, as I've ever come across (could be wrong); usually you would read Kaz praising its power and complimenting it.

Who says they can't become one?

Sorry, is this an argument regarding something that has been seen in a video, or a wish list item based on its concept status?

There is an opening if they'd like to try their luck again:

http://www.gran-turismo.com/us/products/gt6/vgt/

"List of participating companies to Vision Gran Turimo. (As of 20 August 2013)"

My emphasis

So there are 25 different pre-order cars in total, right? Not any others from a specific shop maybe?

Well to further muddy the waters, PSN has it on digital download, with a couple (?) extra cars available for PS+ users. But the 25 cars for the Anniversary Edition are still the same, no matter where you order because the 5 Precision pack cars are the Pre-Order bonus, the other 20 are part of the Anniversary Edition as standard.

But if you're sold on the Anniversary Edition, and have trouble finding it in a store near you, then order online or get the digital copy.

I didn't there was a second video. After looking at both of them I noticed how much more the cars move around, even for a race car. Let alone the way the car pushed going into and through the turn while entering to hot. KW and Yokohama have done a outstanding job with their modeling with the limitation of the PS3. I true feel that people whom have dealt with real cars and setting them up for racing will have the upper hand on everyone else. Let's not forget about the new aerodynamic algorithm..;)

Addition:
AND NOW MORE BLOODY WHITE WALLS to run into. Finally racing.
