Sooo... does anyone know if adding parts to cars (like exhaust and turbo) modifies the weight, and not just the power/PP?

Curiously with V1.01... is the DeltaWing ( or both shall I say now? ) in the dealerships? I've been searching for it seems to be no answer quite yet.

I find these microtransactions awful instead of coming up with a better game design.

Yes I know you don't have to buy them but its cars being held to ransom through a grind or substantially more money. it gets more laughable and obscene the more I think about it.

I remember being on here uploading my GT5p saves for others who don't have the time to unlock cars, rinse and repeating races or just didn't have the skill to unlock but wanted to sample the F1 car. Others were pc gamers who find this unlocking tedious. Quite a few conluded its old game design back then.

Some may enjoy the grind, starting off slow. You could still do that.
Some have few hours to spare each week, some also see hours of their life as precious. Do you really want to drive for an hour in a Honda Fit in GT6? Good luck if you do but I certainly do not.

I also don't want my console on all day for AI to drive. Absolutely crazy.

If you're complaining about having to drive the FIT, you don't get Gran Turismo. Sure it's not the same as it used to be where you'd pick out a used cheap car to drive at first, but the idea is the same: don't judge a car on it's name and type, because you can have a lot of fun and develop an attachment to that car through working hard to win with it.

If you watch the hour-long gameplay video that Inside Sim Racing did, you'll see that by the end despite ragging on the FIT they'd both developed some kind of relationship with the car... that's what Gran Turismo is about. It's about working to get that better car, each and every time.

Has anybody gone through the list of races(that have the game) to see if GT6 looks like it will be longer than GT5. I don't play online so getting a PS3 again mainly for GT6 needs to be worth the money I am spending. Gt5 was way to short. I was almost done with in the first month.

Yes. 18x races in GT6 career versus 12x races in GT5 Aspec.

I have the Anniversary Edition installed (digital)...at 00:01 (10 minutes ago) I put the game...and BAM! Update 1.01...1207 MB to download...lol...36 more minutes and I can see it for the very first time.

And try those lovely AE cars!! I want to try the Huayra so bad! I love that car.

Also I´m 28 years old and right now even with all the info I know and videos...I´m literally as excited as a 8 year old kid at Christmas trying to open his very first present.

On my SSD-equipped PS3 it took 2:10 minutes to install the patch after downloading it.

If they didn't have a clue, then they would've said something like "We have no plans to include that car, yet" or something like that. This is very promising indeed.

Unconfirmed conclusively as yet, but there is 24minutes of Le Mans.

Haha, there was a huge fuss over those car's and them being 4.5 million, now those that were throwing fits about it can relax. 👍

I've just started. It definitely seems better, but I wouldn't expect miracles. Just finished my first coffee break. Glad those challenges are back! Up till now it's the graphics, improved standard cars and the new user interface that strike me most. Also, there's only one place where you can buy all cars (premium & standard)
