I completely agree, but I think there's an important distinction to be made between planned DLC that is unfinished at the time of release, and the type of DLC where the company deliberately withholds ready-to-release content from the base game.

DLC can also be free. Epic did this with Unreal Tournament, releasing quite a lot of map packs and mods for free after the game's release, same with Unreal Tournament 2004. Sadly few other people picked up on that... Though most 'older' DLC's are proper, huge expansions rather than free giveaways.

I would pay for a proper expansion with like, 50-100 new premiums and a dozen new tracks.

Just a quick question. Has anyone heard about that mechanical arm we saw a while back

LOL It was just a promo...like you will break your arms for playing for so long so you need to change them. Then they showed some mechanics changing the arms to a guy while he was playing.

It was really cool.

It's nice that you ask this here because I was wondering about the same thing. A few weeks back, I thought "15th Anniversary Edition Upgrade" was just a Gamestop thing where they give you a copy of GT6 and throw in a separate DLC voucher card. But when I went to preorder at Gamestop, the system had 2 different SKUs coded "RE" and "LE". I'm almost certain this means the 15th Anniversary Edition is an entirely different package, which implies a different box cover. If 15thAE Upgrade really was just a copy of GT6 with a voucher, there wouldn't be a whole SKU created for it.

Alright thanks. I'll mention this when I go pick up the game tomorrow morning. It's just a little weird that when I asked him about it no one in the store had any idea what I was talking about. All he said was "if it says it comes with something extra online, it will have it when you come pick up the game."

Yeah, my mistake. I wrote Interlagos automatically while thinking VelloCitta.

Here is a video of the event:

Hahahaha, at 1:11...why the hell would they have a Porsche with GT decals on. That was kinda funny...

Mercedes Vision GT's cockpit. WTF? Is it like this because its dark? WTF

That's ridiculous...
That's what I meant when I posted a while back that GT6 is GT5 with some improvements, more contents, but also several removed/stripped features. It's really maddening and I *really* hope Sony/PD won't charge for things that were included or added in the previous game.

The Evo Cup have a race at Vello Citta, Stock Car too I think. Interlagos and Senna's Kart Track problably is a feature of GT6.

Just realised I haven't seen license tests in the videos/pics I've seen of the menu. Have they dropped them?
Just noticed that there is no license test at the end of International B series. It's some sort of championship.

It's like that because the car doesn't exist, it doesn't have a cockpit to be modelled from. Same with the 2005 Nissan GT-R concept. It was a premium but had no interior because it didn't exist on that model.

No apparently it doesn't have a modelled interior. I don't get why they wouldn't do interiors for something as prestigious as Vision GT cars. Doesn't make any sense at all.

I did put on a day track and i can barely see my driver's hands and either he is turning his hands in air like he is dancing or there is a shadowy wheel. though the car is awesome. its performance is really sky high. so easy to control, so agile so awesome.

Wait a minute... this car has an interior, as we seen in some pictures already, maybe the interior is not modeled yet, so wait some time please, they probably want to make a very detailed interior just like the other premium cars...
What we should be asking is about the big wing version shown before. The sounds might be just a placeholder...

Because the interior of the car was put in less then a month ago?

I really hope that it was a time issue and we get the interior with the next update. But why not wait a bit longer to release the completely finished car?

OK I looked up the track list and they have the track for speed test "Special Stage Route X". This track cant be used for speed test? Can anyone confirm plz ?

Care to explain?

Supporting their product is supporting their product. Whether it's new content or updates.

I think he's talking about the difference between adding content after the game comes out and holding back content that is already ready so that they can sell it later on. Not that there is any evidence of that being the case.

Point noted. 👍

Yeah, and developers shouldn't patch the game after it's released either.

Or lets make a pointless reply which isn't related to paid DLC at all.

GTPorsche
How dare they support their product. 👎

And where did I say they shouldn't support GT? Of course they should! It's their game. What I was trying to say was developers shouldn't make people pay extra for content that is either on the disc already, or installed through a patch (but need to be paid for to obtain said content).

Hi there guy´s,
After playing for about 4 hours yesterday I went to check the legal information on the game and I´ve notice two things:
I saw a licence for Danica Patrick´s Go Daddy car and also something more interesting, something about A1Gp i just don´t recall if it was a racing team or a championship.
Can someone check it out please i´m at work now....
Didn't they have some cars that PD had a license for but weren't in the game? One-77 and Saleen S7R in GT5's credits.

His argument was mostly against on disk content being locked and then opened up for sale as DLC.
You came in comparing that to patching post release?
You think this is an oranges to oranges comparison?
