I know sites shouldn't be doing this but HELL YES!! Remember what happened with GT6 last year? I think they did the same to it as well, wven though it wasn't announce, but then BOOM, Silverstone event came out of nowhere. It's looking very likely that GT7 will be announced this E3. Woot! :D

Good thing I got my PS4. 👍

7th Nov 2014?

It's not even a year after GT6's release, which by the way isn't even complete yet.

PD will take their time with releasing 7. Unless something just pops up from above and it suddenly gets announced half a year before its release date like with GT6.

I see it earlier. They will use most of GT6 Tracks, Premium vehicles Up-res all the textures, and tweak the game. I can see it coming tad earlier.

The sheer quality of the new tracks, Brands Hatch, Bathurst and Silverstone alone points to a GT7 in this year. Just compare it with La Sarthe.

Kazu said PoDi focus on GT6 and its updates.

So, it isn't for this year. 2014 : Drive Club.

I could be wrong but I have a big doubt

And what do you expect him to say?

I mean, yeah, the master of brokne promises would say "You know what? We're developing GT7 right now, so just don't bother with 6".

GT6, with the fairly unreachable new resolution and 60 FPS, to me, is a downscaled PS4 game.

Wanna bet?

PD can't afford to lose another start of generation. GT7 will be among us in late 2014.

This. And also because there was so much complaints about GT6 not releasing on PS4 (and still to this day), I feel GT7 will indeed be coming out this year. I don't know about Drive Club, but I'm betting its going to get delayed again...

If GT7 comes out before summer 2015 I will not only eat my hat, I'll eat a week's worth of dirty laundry as well. I'm not expecting anything until Holiday 2015 at the earliest. After all this is PD we're talking about, and they still have a long way to go to get features they planned well before GT5 up and running and a lot to work on with what they have at the moment (sounds, physics, tuning etc).

Well they did say it could be anywhere from 1 to 1.5 years.. So if it in the earlier side of that estimate, Holiday 2014 would not be out of the question. Plus it is a completely different platform, so they aren't competing directly with GT6 on PS3, lots of people will still buy that after GT7 on PS4 comes out.

Also, with how small and short and simple the "game" part has become (short career, etc), all they have to do is create the new tracks and new cars.. the rest could be done relatively quickly.

Plus you have to remember they always have the option to release a game with half the features on the box completely absent, and promise the rest for some unknown date on the future. I only see that problem only getting worse in the future, so that means they can get game out even sooner.

Yup, and we'll lap it up. Pathetic business strategy.

I remain skeptical until its actually made official. I've seen this way too many times to know how this will end.

A reverse image search on that cover doesn't show anything. I'm still sold on the next GT game being released in 2015.

I wish they'd just concentrate on what we have in the here and now. I don't want GT7, I'm not remotely interested in it. I want a course maker, I want DLC which I'm perfectly prepared to pay for. I want new cars and new tracks on a regular basis, like we were told we were going to get.

Just watched the Kaz movie. We're playing POKEMON GT. Gotta collect 'em all.
And another thing. Our bonus cars should be the camera cars they filmed the circuits with. I mean, they spent most of their time in those cars when photographing. Only seems right to include them in the game.
This might have actually worked if they created enough events unique to a bunch of cars...

Forza 4 blatantly claimed the exact same thing, and created many events that focused on a few cars... Not sure if it netted the result they were after but the mechanic could easily work for a car game...
